Grow Journal First grow #1

Ya know...my trichomes always always go milky and majority of pistils go brown before my leaves change color. Right or wrong I don't worry about the leaves. Can't but will- wait for your harvest photos!!!
happy tincture :)

You think i have a few more days?.. i can get some pictures if that would help.. they had a microscope at a local salavage store with lcd screen 1600x for 99 buckls orignlly 1200 wish i had the money... then i could get sometrich pix

Im going to cure all the top buds for myself and the wife =-D its so nice to grow your own medicine and get to try its an amazing feeling.. im in love with the process really its a big accomplishment for me.

In all honesty you are the best judge and in judging you refine your growing skills and plant intuition plus increases your confidence. I would look sure. And yes you can wait a few days . You won't go all amber over night :) ultimately...make the call and stand by it. Delighted for your new found passion!!!!!!

Should i wait till i see a few ambers you think? if the trichs are done does that mean all the hairs will be orange or no? my dr.p has alot of white still going and growing... im just trying to figure out how to tell.. ambers are not showing up really.. can u just wake up and start seeing ambers? im nervous and not sure when to cut is all.. i want the best i can get out of it!

As GWE has sai sometimes the bud is growing more whites but it is still ready via trichomes. I tend to go by that. A few ambers won't turn into couchlock. Are you checking your mid-stem buds ( not just the top)? Are they cloudy too..and probably have more white hairs left?

On the mid buds there are still a few clear ones but there are quite a few milky white ones about half way down the cola.. so that probably means i need about 5-7 days im thinking . would be 9 weeks and 2 days

Well. If midway most are cloudy I would be preparing my trim space and drying equip....I personally harvest a tiny early and cure well & longer. Consult
Green75 id take a pic and hit him Up for an opinion....
generally id say not more than two days given what you describe.

Alright i will do it tomorrow or tuesday do the trichs amber up doing curing and also do all hairs turn brown after you cut since they will die.

Trichomes will change as they dry but not to amber ( again in my e perience) ...should be sparkling...yes pistils/ hairs will go brown...pretty quickly. And if you want..start with one branch, trim it out, loupe it..hang it. To me this period is most unattractive, buds as they dry are in a purgatory of beauty. Then change again into a thing of beauty.

Tomorrow is the day get ready for a flood of pictures.. also do buds get better as you cure from what i understand curing is the most crucial part to the harvest! do they smell/taste better and get more pontent? tika i know you know this..

Been away a good bit but just wanted to stop by. Y'alls conversation is right on time for me. Thanks

hows it going jeg.. no one ever comments about my grow sad panda.. hard to want to update right now not alot of comments but when the harvest comes i can move it into completed journals maybe it will get more views i dont know..... how you doing finally got to smoke my hard works fucking 10 out of 10

As far as my little plant goes I'm all over the place as to when to harvest. My phone can only show y'all so much but what I see seems different. But I definitely don't want couchlock

if you dont want CC harvest soon.. my high is a very motivated high i just cleaned the whole house.. and got some shit done i have been pushing off and being lazy/depressed... this weed is really helping me with the depression/ptsd and my knee pain from surgery.. its so cool to know i made this medicine and it works

DRYING & CURING is CRITICAL ( in my opinion) bud, shake, what ever..this is the homestretch which is a piece of work - major. And it isn't linear. So..I suggest GWE again review drying and curing. Hygrometers as expensive as they are- well worth a few. You are not done til your mason jars range between 62 and 64. I suggest no Bovida 62 til you are in range- they don't cure for you.
Cured bud is smoother, relieves racing thoughts potential ( I know peeps smoke early), and is flat out better cannabis.
Homework time said lovingly.

Hey Inuart sorry you feel your grow isn't getting the attention it deserves. Your plants are fantastic and you've got lots of great looking buds to be proud of, I know I certainly would be.

Posts can get knocked down the list pretty quickly with so many new threads and people replying to other threads so I wouldn't take it personally. I think some of the newer people to the forum might also concentrate on threads with the most views/replies from growers like Green & Tika as well as the grow battle thread where they probably think they'll get the most info from the more experienced/popular growers but don't realise they're missing out on great stuff from other growers.

I know when working on my current grow thread I felt the same as if I was being overshadowed and overlooked due to the more popular threads but then I thought to myself I'm not here for attention or praise, I'm here to see what others are achieving with their different grow approaches, help anyone I can and post about my grow and experiences since I have nobody here to talk to about growing or anyone to smoke with. All my mates are back on the other side of the country where I'm from before my partner & I relocated so I pretty much go to work or do things in town and then come home, I don't have any face to face outside work social interaction with anyone and haven't for almost 3 years now.

Thanks for the support OZ and i do understand that ... just feel proud and want to show people how a first grow can turn out... with patience and the proper research and asking questions when you have them.. and to have some confidence that your doing the right thing... Im starting to write out some how-tos and things i have learned my first grow so i have the info for later reference. i may share them .. and notes about each stage and what to do... And im the same way i hate outside social situations!
