Where do you get free shipping for kind soil? I bought mine off Amazon. And shipping is 1350. Are you buying it directly from kind soil?

I'd really like to check it out but I'm afraid to do so without someone who's experienced using it. I will be needing to order 25 lb of kind soil soon, and I'd much rather get this stuff if it's as good as kind.

I'm going to say my guess is they are likely to be very similar. Both are made/blended specifically for cannabis.

I think after the grow challenge I'll do a side by side comparison.

That would be interesting. If you really think they're pretty much the same thing then maybe I will go ahead and buy Nature's living for this upcoming grow. My current plants 35 days old, so I'm still not sure when I want to start 5 more seeds that are Auto. But I'm also planning on growing 5 photoperiod plants in the same room as my next group of Auto. Of course moving them into a flowering room when they are done in veg.

Just went upstairs and checked on the girls. Lights have been out about an hour. Humidity 53, temps 75, and every single plant is drooped! I don't believe they're over or under watered- what is going on? I've got to say my suspicions might be that I did not use enough of the neutral Pro mix BX on top of the kind soil, and maybe they're getting too much of a good thing so to speak. Every single one is drooped. Very strange. Any ideas?

When lights go out leaves go to sleep... they should perk up with lights on. It's called circadian rythum.

Two days ago I planted five more OG Kush seeds in Rapid Rooter plugs. I had soaked them overnight, planted them in the plugs and put them on the heat mat under CFL lighting. I cannot for the life of me think of anything I've done wrong, but once again four out of five have come up. The first grow of which my plants are now just beginning to flower, out of 10 seeds I got six. These are from Nirvana and the company says they've never had a problem. What in the world am I doing wrong here. Next time I will use the paper towel method. But here's a question. The one little seed that has not done anything, can I take that out and put it on a small plate in a damp paper towel now? Or is it too late for that at this point? I planted them Friday morning. It is now Monday morning. Any thoughts?

Go for it... If it doesn't pop in a couple days it probably won't. I've had 93% success with the papertowel method. I'm at 50% using jiffy pellets. Haven't tried the rapid rooters yet. I've also tried soaking but always had to put them in a pt to pop tap roots. Good luck.

The only thing you could be doing wrong is watering to much or to little. But if you got 5 out of 6 I doubt that's the problem. And I'd give it more time. I had 1 last grow take like 8 days to pop. But it eventually did. For comparison one of those same seeds came up in under 18 hours.

Wow okay. I'll give it more time I guess. Nirvana gave me the impression that they never have a seed failure, so I attributed it to be my fault. The first round 6 out of 10 sprouted, and I didn't really give the other four much more time. Turned off the heat mat Etc. I will leave this one alone and hope for the best. They are under 2 CFL grow bulbs 60w, 3200 k. I have them about 12 to 13 inch away from the Rooter plugs. Thanks for your replies guys.

Nirvana has some really good seeds and really good strains but no one can claim 100%. It just will never happen. I get close to 100% but 100 is just plain impossible no matter what kind of seeds you are planting. There will always be failures. I think that for most people getting 8 out of 10 is a rather good number. I know that Nirvana will usually work with you if you have a very dismal germination rate but that is usually for when none of the seeds germinate. Good luck and never fret about losing 1 or 2.
