Time for another update with pics. The first 5 are of my Lady that is coming up on her harvest window in a week or two. About 1/3 of the pistils are starting to brown and curl. The trich's are still clear. Also showing in two pics is a size reference for a couple of colas. The last two are my girls, both solidly in flower.

A Lesson Learned. While I have read the GWE site many times, when they discussed the size of the pot, I always disregarded that it would be a big deal. It is a big deal. My lady is only 9 days older than my girls but in comparison, my lady is huge. She is in a 5 gallon pot, the girls are in 3 gallon containers. That's what I get for NOT following directions.

My Lady is getting closer everyday. Pistils are about 60% and the trich's have a few cloudy but no amber at all. I'm going to snip a bud today, purely for research purposes lol.

Pic time again. This is my lady. Her pistils are at about 60% brown and curled. The trich's are still mostly clear. I do have a question though. While my lady doesn't have the yellow leaves to the extent of this picture (http://www.growweedeasy.com/why-cannabis-leaves-yellow#normal-yellow-leaves) all of the leaves are Starting to yellow. The tutorial says that is normal. I just have a fear of harvesting too early for a good yield, and harvesting too late and ending up with sleep meds. I would like your opinions. The yellowing doesn't show that well in the pics, but the leaves have lost some of their green luster.

I've never met of heard of anybody actually harvesting too late. I personally always wait for amber trichomes on the lower buds to make sure I don't harvest early and the effect is not super couch lock. Remember when in doubt just wait some more

Bikerstonrr She is looking fantastic!!! And I see lots of milky triches in those pics. AND her leaves don't look all that bad, really!! So keep watching and let those trichome heads swell up a bit more; you're nowhere near couch-lock weed IMHO.

Time for another update of my Mystery lady. The pistils are about 80% curled and brown, but without (I think) the corresponding increase of milky trichomes. Of course my eyes are not that good. I do know that none of them are turning to gold. She is now bringing her aroma throughout the house. If you see something different than I do please let me know.

Biker, she looks so awesome, and I think you're right: you could get a few more brown pistils to be at peak harvest point (I had to go back to look at GWE pics, but I was thinking that you still have a few too many white pistils.) The closeup pics are fabulous.

HARVEST TIME

Here are 2 pics of my Cheese lady's first section of harvest. Weighed out at 84 grams wet. The remaining buds are still about 50% white pistils so they are back under the lights for some time. There is probably 10-15 grams still on my Lady. Not too bad for an auto.

The first pic is of my best buds, pun intended. the second is the total harvest.
