Are all grinders the same or is there a certain kind that's better than others? I've never had one, I don't think they existed back when I used to smoke. I'd like to pick one up but hate wasting money
 
Thanks Oz. Do you use grinders? I'm wanting to figure out if a $15 one from my local gas station will be worth it?
 
That looks like a good one. Does the kind of metal matter? I don't know why I'm being picky in my old age. I don't use metal pipes anymore, I prefer glass seems cleaner. I'd hate to buy one only to find metal shavings in my final product. Once again no idea why I'm being picky, I've got so much chore boy in my lungs you could use them to scrub your dishes!
 
The type of metal probably could probably make a difference but I have been watching out for shavings and have yet to find any.
 
I refuse to buy an aluminium grinder; mine is stainless steel. INfo about SS versus aluminium:

And Jeg, you are not in old age; I don't even think you're in middle age yet. If you are in your 40s, 40s is the new 20s.

I'm with you atu. I read about stainless steel storage containers and liked the idea. I use a stainless soup thermos for daily smoke. It looks like aluminum grinders are the most prevalent though.
 
I'm Lazy Jeg I use a coffee bean grinder if the bud is at 62% I pulse it twice for about a second each if you do longer it makes alot of keif lol. but once you get the hang of it .its perfect for rolling
