Green seeds

Anybody have luck sprouting green seeds? I decided to cross two popular strains and all my seeds came out pale green. Since I always hear that green seeds are immature I was pretty bummed but decided to give them a try. 24 hours I checked on them and they all have roots! The fastest I've ever germed! They were straight off the plant, and I used the wet paper towel method. I couldn't believe it. Maybe the color thing is a myth, as long as the seeds are mature I can't see how it could make a difference.

I'm calling this strain Critical Widowtonic Auto. We'll see how she does outdoors.

seeds take 2-6 wks to form and if it does not crunch between the fingers it's old enough to plant. Good luck ! Good Growing !!

Thanks! I've already planted them in soil. I've never had seeds that I mail ordered sprout so quickly or as reliably. Every seed popped a root. I'm usually less than 50 percent with mail order. Pretty stoked.

Point being, never get mad when you get green seeds. Give them a shot, it could just mean they are really fresh!

The plants may act very different than either ofthe two parents (of stable genetics).
Germination of green seeds is lower than mature seeds.

I gave the plant away and it has been placed outside to see what happens-it's doing well and I heard its developing buds!
