This was taken earlier right after lights on I thought it was clawing but it’s good now that the lights have been on for a little bit.

Wow there's a whole lot of growth since we last saw them. I'm not an expert on defol. but I don't think they'd mind a haircut. Looks good though, let them be if you want.

Yeah, sorry to hear about health and hope things turn around for you in that regard.
Pics would help with defol questions. I assume you are familiar with the bud based defol tutorial? I followed it closely last time, but this time I am going to remove significantly fewer leaves. Prunning leaves can help with air-flow, humidity, and expose growth to light, but I think it is easy to get carried away and trim leaves that would be better left. For my current defol I am going to take leaves that are really blocking others and I have already lollipopped, But I am going to try and keep leaves that aren't problematic (blocking others that I want to prioritize).

What has your RH been running in the tent? I think controlling RH is one of the biggest benefits of defol, so curious if you need it.

When I want faster growing branches to slow down I pinch them about three nodes from the top and bend them over. That gives them a few days to a week to recover while the other smaller ones get a chance to catch up some. I know I'm a touch late with this

OJH. Evaporation. Moisture is lost via the stomata of a leaf, in an evaporation process known as transpiration in the case of trees and plants. That evaporation creates humidity in the tent, the less leaf, the less evaporation, the lower your Rh.

Yeah, what Mr.furley said. The fewer leaves, the less transpiration - hence lower RH. It is really significant. After my big defol on the last grow RH came down by at least 5%. It is a balancing act, because transpiration is what plants do to grow and reducing it is a trade-off. Need to find the balance between vigorous growth and reducing the risks of high humidity. If you otherwise can't get the RH below 60, defoliation will certainly help - but it comes at the expense of vital plant processes

I barely defoliated last grow but I think it hurt ,y yield so I’m trying more aggressive I think this time around

I think the key to it for the veg process was just taking the lower leaves that get no light and the fan leaves that are hiding bud sites and new growth and fan leaves that are dollar sized or more. So is that the same for bloom?

And ya I had to switch it to bloom it was growing too fast and after the bloom switch on 3/30 it has been growing an inch or more a day this plant is going to be monster huge for an indoor I’m a little overwhelmed at how huge it’s getting lol so it’s gained about a half foot since the switch way more vigorous growth then my last plant, hope everyone is doing well

I did the opposite. Last grow I defoliated so much that I think that hurt yield! There is a sweet spot somewhere in the middle!!

Well I technically have no tent it’s just in the living room inside a cardboards room I made with aluminum foil and i don’t have a gauge for it but it has been in the 70s to 80% humidity and is going back down in a few days I guess I could just run my space heater to try and dry it out in the room, I figure that should help a little I’ll run it faced away from the plant so no direct damage and I’ll run it from the dining room to give it somespace as I’m only just trying to dry the air
