Get Help for Cannabis Plants Problems as Quickly as Possible!

Thanks BU2B, I've actually went through those several times and when I think I know what it is I see another picture that looks like it also, at first I thought it may have been heat stress, then I seen a picture that made me think magnesium and then I seen one that made me think potassium. Lol I'm new to this and just learning, hoping someone can better identify it and maybe give some insight as to why it happened.

I haven't looked at the GWE pics for your issues. IIRC one tsp equals 5 ml? I've never used more than 4-5 ml of Cal-Mag in a gallon of water. Not sure if too much of that does this. I don't use distilled to water the plants.

Hello again - I have a question about these cheap grow lights from Walmart that I am using. This is my first time growing. I have 3 of these Bulbs which I bought from Walmart in a rush. They seem to be working well for my seedlings at the moment but I was wondering a few things:

• Will they be good enough for a single plant?
• From what I can tell they seem to be in the right spectrum for growing Marijuana?
• since they are 60W Equivalent should I think of the setup as 180W total or somewhere in-between 60W to 180W?
• I am not sure what "60W Equivalent" means. Are these really just 8W bulbs "60W Equivalent" is marketing?
• Will the three bulbs be good enough for 3 plants but perhaps give lower yields? I mainly ask because the site seems to only mention 100W+ bulbs

The three bulbs are mounted on flexible stands so I am hoping that during the flowering stage I will be able to spread them around the colas and perhaps in between colas if there is enough space and the plants don't get burned.

My plant also took some damage but it's recovering now - should I snip or keep the two leaves at the bottom? see photos here.

Okay - I'm going to try this again (my internet has been iffy at best since last night and I've tried to answer you a few times).
I don't know if your Fox Farm soil is hot so this may be all for naught but here's my suggestions:
* Flush your growing medium with 3x the volume of liquid (i.e., 1 gallon pot = 3 gallons of water) Flushing liquid should contain water (ro or distilled if possible) ph balanced to 6.0 and with 2tsp of hydrogen peroxide per gallon.
* First watering after Flush make sure that your growing medium is dry or barely damp to at least the first knuckle on your index finger (2nd knuckle is better about 1.5 - 2 inches). Your first watering should contain 1/2 the amount of recommended nutrients AND 1ml per liter (or about 1.5 tsp) per gallon of CalMag or MagiCal
- UNLESS your soil is hot - they should be getting nutrients on a regular basis
to be quite honest Tofasgt they DON'T look horrible and your being very attentive - I'm sure your girls will be fine, but please; keep us updated on your progress. Happy Pharming!

Thanks again BU2B I absolutely will give this a shot. And they are not autos, just some regular ol photo seeds from a bag. I will do exactly as you've mentioned here this weekend, I just fed them last night as suggested by a couple other people, switched up a couple things and gonna wait a couple days to see what the new growth is going (if there is any new growth) as growth has seemed to be stalled since this has started. Thanks a ton.

Hi. Yes remove on bottom cotyledons and first set of true leaves, they're dead. Your bulbs seem more for cannabis germination. I won something like this, I put it in a round plastic hanging lampshade over one plant, it grew up but before flowering time I bought LED/blurple panel lights. I've upgraded since. Light matters very much. This grow bulb says 100W but in the 2nd pic it says 30W which is probably it's true draw. I looked at a true 32W on Walmart, it just didn't look like mine. Not sure of my lights specs ATM, too lazy to go look at the box, sorry. I'll post a pic of my first 3 plants before I got panel lights, it shows the light & shade over one plant. Pic of when I first moved them into my closet, and the 1st seed - all indica - that grew under the hanging lampshade with grow bulb like one I showed you above. Lower leaves weren't going to get much light. In the end, with two LED panels and much advice from this site I could hardly close the closet doors, nice first harvest. Three plants = > 1lb.

Lampshade w/black trim in upper R corner is what this plant was growing under.

Thanks! I did some research and found that when they say 80w equivalent it means its as bright as an 80w incandescent bulb but with a lower actual power draw. Still not sure how this will affect the plant but I will do some more research later I guess. Thanks for sending over the pictures. that yield is not bad at all for the bulb. I will probably get some more heavy-duty lights once my plants have grown a bit more or for the flowering stage. I have 6 seedling growing now and have no idea what is going to be male/female yet so I guess it depends on how many males I throw away.

That yield was from two KingLED 1500 panels. Watch Amazon for prices on panels, they had good deals on nicer lights in July. Look for full spectrum, not bluple, if you can upgrade.

Help please! Super dark edges around leaves after flowering started.

This is my first time growing and my plant hit the flowering stage around August 11th. Around 3-4 days ago some leaves on my plant have developed very dark edges out of nowhere. I’m not sure if this is normal or not. I have her in a 20 gallon pot outdoors and am using Vigiro All-Purpose potting mix. When watering, I wait until the entire top 1 to 2 inches is dry and water until just a small (maybe 6 ounces) of water drains from the bottom. I am using the felt-like material pot so drainage shouldn’t be an issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Puglover1 I wish I knew. Someone gave me a bag of shake and I found a few seeds. I ended up with this one female and that’s where I’m at.

It looks like the start of manganese deficiency. see post #516.4 above only for first feeding add 1tbsp epsom salts per gallon instead of cal/mag. Not sure If I'm seeing white powdery mildew but I'd remove the leaves beyond repair. I would keep looking if it was me - but give this a try. Best Wishes.

Gingerbeard oh I heard those are a notorious pest for plants, but I never knew what they looked like. Thanks! I’ll have to figure out how to rid myself of them without harming the buds.

Based only on the buds you've shown, it might still be early enough to try a treatment not recommended for flowering plants.
I am able to watch my plants close and often enough to be obsessive. The two times I had to deal with them I plucked what I saw and used a solution of 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to a quart of water as a spray. The spray is my experience. Others have had the same experience and others have had bad.
Folks are going to turn you on to all sorts of products. This is a good resource.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Gingerbeard it looks like pests. I haven't had to deal with outdoor insect issues for quite some time. I don't mind saying when I know something is true, but on the other hand; my outdoor growing experience is NOT as fresh in my mind as my indoor hydro growing and at the risk of injuring your plants or growing experience - I think you would be better served by finding someone who's grows are more in line with your own. There are some really great and knowledgeable people on GWE that I am sure can help you more than I can.
