Germinate HSC Vanilla frosting…please!

I’m having difficulty germinating Humboldt SeedCo Vanilla Frosting. I just purchased the seeds from them directly. I haven’t had problems germinating, my fifth year and with grow.i really like their genetics, both quality and stabilization. Original attempt; light well draining soil in a nursery pot with humidity dome and I’ve been highly successful with it. Nothing after ten day. Switched to, 20 hour soak in the glass, switched to paper towel method. Five days later I got a 1/2” sprouts and planted it. The last seed still hasn’t cracked.
 
Germination issues are annoying...the temps in your soak and paper towel are in the goldilocks zone I'm guessing? 5 days in the paper towel to get a 1/2" tail? Is that what I'm reading? Sounds like old seeds. What does Humboldt advise?
 
I always use: soak in tap water for 24 hours then drop in moist coco/p. Usually day 4 they break through. if they don't come up by day 7 I toss them. Haven't tossed many.
 
You know how to sprout seeds! This may well be a bad seed. Nothing is 100%. Maybe HSC will cover your seed loss with a germination guarantee and replace it. Worth asking.
 
I do 12-18 hours soak then into PT , usually get 1/2. Tails in 24-48 hours in PT. I’ve started using 1/3 hydrogen peroxide (3-3.5%) & 2/3 water for the soak and pour that on the PT. It helps with germination and help guard against pathogens
 
That's pretty much exactly what I do except I use a little less H2O2. Just a few drops in the shot glass. I also use the soak water on the pt.
 
I purchase from Humboldt seeds also.i killed 240.00 worth of seeds with paper towel method,I'm now floating in cup of water for 3 days in the dark 100%germ with water method,let seeds float on top of water,don't poke em down they need to float
