Fox Tails - Am I Ready???

Into week 11 flower period and noticed today some new growth and one that looks like a little fox tail. I am using t8 2700k tubes and they put out very little heat and normally keep them 3-4 inches away from tops of plants. If this is not due to light/heat stress or high grow room temperature, the only thing left would be the genetics of the plants, as I have read here. I have moved my lights up higher just to play it safe just because I have not encountered this issue before and am playing it safe. I was planning on week 12-13 to cut them down, so will I make to this time or are they ready now???

This is a pict of the AH I'm currently growing, Sativa dominant, showing similar to yours but about 4 weeks behind (Guess). I like a real uppity high that a toke will keep me hustling for a while. From what I can tell from your pictures, I would be flushing and getting ready to harvest. If you like a more couch like high, I believe you are close but can not see amber in the trichs (I'm begging to think Sativa never does, but that's a whole other ball of wax)

Sativa grow I had went 11wks of flower and she may of gone longer but I saw milky so I flush with water and molasses last drink then let her dry out till she was nearly all yellow trunk to leaf. That's just what I did, man your really close. Only you can see those trichs real good how do you like it well done or med ?

It is true from what I have researched Sativa may not turn amber at all and I am like you, I like to wake up and smile in the morning! If I want to get laid back, I let the Indica do that for me. Oh I had these prepped from week 8 on and have been keeping a very close eye on them!!! And to be honest, I really never grew any of my stuff to be stony, I guess cause I don't like getting lazy at the wrong time of day!

I like mine right at the top and just slightly over on the bell curve with maybe 5-10% amber or less over the top for Sativa to smile and get going in the morning! Indica, well the 1 I just harvested was at maximum cloudy white with maybe less 5% amber. I have never really gone past that to get laid back in the couch because until this grow I really got to know more about the 2 strains and what they can do. Personally, I like Good Morning and Good Night at their maximum peak of being ripe!.

Now I will really have to pay attention to the rec side of both strains, then pay attention to the med side of both strains. To be honest, I just smoke and buzz, now I have a different outlook! Is the wake up and smile the same or different to each one and the lay you back in the couch stone for each one as well??? You know, I never really gave it any thought, until now.

I tend to herd strains into three groups: trip, chill & sleep. I like Purple Haze or Ghost Train Haze to trip, Acapulco Gold or Larry OG to chill & Afghani or GG1 to sleep.
