what reason do I feel like my lower buds are maturing faster than my higher ones? Reasons? Ideas? Am i wrong or right? I think so because my lower buds the hairs are turning alot faster than my higher ones. I dont have a jewelers loupe yet but i am getting one either tomarrow or this week (depending on where i find one) Ill post pics..

The first two are of two of the 5 top main colas.
The second two are of one of the most mature ones towards the bottom. (Obviously w/ flash).

Off the top of my head, the only thing I can think of is that the overall humidity is lower toward bottom of your plant or light is brighter, though that's opposite of most situations. Are you talking about only one plant or multiple plants?

I am talking about only one plant. Ive read about it before and im really not worried it might just mean some i gotta harvest before the rest 😊 butni was just wondering if anyone knew why this would happen i can post more photos of her if that would help..

Does seem unusual but if the plant is overall healthy and where it should be for its' age, then yes, it may just mean you will be harvesting those lower buds sooner. The real test is the color of the trichomes though, not the pistils.

I've been in that situation outdoors. Just one plant. The side branches and the main branch were lollipopped before flowering to get some airflow. No topping was done. So when flowering all the side branches kinda stretched out to get away the main branch. Not growing much bud. But the main cola kept growing upwards with new growth even by week 14 of flowering when most of lower buds seem almos ready. At the end I chopped due to humidity and mold so no conclusion there. It was a strain characteristic or even a pheno. It was a sativa from bag seed. I think original amnesia. Hope you get a great harvest

Thank you!! Yeah im thinking mine is a sativa/indica hybrid not to shure.. It was a seed i found in some really good green i had gotten it was the only one i found in a 12 grm bag so i definetly grew it and now shes this monster 😣😣 i coulda done more lst training but it was my first and i was nervous to bend her

A red pistil is one that has died, which is kind of an ongoing process throughout flowering, and new pistils will usually continue to appear right up to harvest, varying in amount by strain.
I wouldn't think of it as meaning that those buds are more mature than the other ones. They look normally mature in the pictures as compared to the upper buds. Different things can cause pistils to die off more than the usual amount- a water spray will do it. Also nute burn, high temps,underwatering, rough treatment, or pollination.
Once you know a strain you can usually judge maturity by the pistils, but looking at the trichomes shows the situation more accurately. Anyway, your plant is quite early in flowering so there are many more white pistils to come yet.

I think it's caused by high light intensity. Remember the sun starts in the east and sets in the west. Since lights are in a fixed position (except on a light mover) the crowns get full noon intensity all 12 hours of its day. This causes new calyxes to develop continuously on the crowns, thus the white pistils.
