First Time Grower - overcoming mistakes

It's not water because I use a water meter.
I Google it so it's more than likely I had my light way to close to my flowers. They were like 12" inches from the light. So was probably way too close.
 
And maybe they were about 10 inches from the top of the flower.
So I just noticed this today like get real bad. So I hope this fixes it. Idk ?

Use this to get a general idea of how much light you are giving your plant. I suggest you download a free light meter app so you can measure the amount of light you are giving your plant. If you have an android phone I suggest Tent Buddy. Iphone? Photone.

Is this what my bud should look like?
Today is Day 40 in flower so about 2 and half more weeks and they should be done. Just wondering your guys opinion.?
I had to use string to hold up half the tree, because in the morning it was leaning all the way to the left really bad. And I had to put zip ties on few of smaller branches with big buds. But overall it has buds that are really huge now. So I'm Happy.
If I would of knew about LST and train techniques it could been bigger and stronger. But about at 6 weeks round about now.
My other flower is no where near as big as the Cinderella 99.
But Cinderella 99 pot is twice as big. and they will be done on July 4th, should be about 59 60 days all together.

your plants don't know what day it is so don't count on july 4th. read about how to tell when they're done by how they look and what to look for. they look good so far
 
I only have a overhead fan blowing on them in the day time.
At night no circulation of air really. And I don't have a extra plug in my bedroom for a fan. So I try to keep my overhead fan on high most the time. And the air in house our AC is on now. And set at 68F. So my next grow I will definitely have a fan.
 
Okay so what exactly am I looking for and what are the trichomes?
This is taken with my 50 mp phone camera. I'm buying a Vivosun 60x magnifier in next couple days. But this is my Cinderella 99 flower at today is 47 day of flower.
But yeah what am I looking for.

And this is my Hollywood OG flower at 47 day of flower.
But I think I zoom in and I see the trichomes are still clear.
So I have a couple more weeks maybe less I don't know yet.
I guess I'll just start checking in another week or so.

Trichomes are all those mushroom looking things all over the buds when you zoom in. Your looking for a mixture of cloudy and amber trichomes. From what I can see you could push them another week or 2 for best results. If you harvested now the "high" might make you feel "Racey" or like can't get settled yet I'm stoned sort of feeling... I remember you saying you smoke for medical reasons so I'd push them another week or two so you get a better affect from the smoke. But keep checking trichs everyday now coz they could go amber anytime now
