Day 65 on the Deisel Auto,s certainly not the biggest plants and seem to be taking their time and the buds don’t seem to change much. I could be getting impatient as well though.
Found the run off in all 3 of my auto’s were off the other day. My biggest one was 7.4 and the other 2 were 5.8.
Just to busy this weekend to get time but tonight I flushed with offset ph’d tap water (around 3l each) then added 1.5l of nutrients ph’d to 6.4/6.5.
the big lady showing signs of resistance and stuck at 7. I’ll just offset its nutrient ph slightly and see how she goes.
I also did a little defoliating. As they seem to have grown more from a week. Took some photo’s in the natural light.

Thanks Primo. Certainly over estimated the power of this LED as I had it to far away for most of the grow. Over 24†for first 45 or so days. But it’s now about 16â€-18â€
I will also be a viperspectra to add next grow and I’m going to start the first few weeks with CFL’s really close to stop them stretching. The LED I have was a powerful option in my budget range. It was also my initial setup so couldn’t buy all the fancies I would like 😂
This forum, the journals and nebula’s tutorials have made great reading to help me out

That is very impressive for that light. I looked up that particular light and it is only pulling 120watts on average from the wall. The number coming from the wall is what I use to determine my lights. When you get more lights in your tent you are going to be amazed at how much bigger your plants and buds will get. For what you have now your grow is going very well.

Thanks redwasp, as I said I totally over estimated the power of the light but looking into upgrading next time round. I spent money on a half decent setup but couldn’t afford a fancy LED.
I will keep that in mind for the future about how much power they draw as I didn’t realize it was only 120w.

After more defoliating yesterday and the flush my ladies took a noticeable growth over night which is promising. Hopefully new growth over the next week will show me if I’m on the right track
Turned the light off and took some photo’s of the Deisel auto’s. My grow tent is 2.65ftx2.65ft

Watered the girls again tonight, roughly 2L every 48 hours seems to produce decent run off and keeps the soil moist with my basic non brand soil. Can’t wait to try mixing perlite through better soil next time
Checked the run off on all 3. 2 now seem to be coming back into range, 1 @ 6.1 (from 5.8) and 1 @ 7 (7.2).
My 3rd auto is proving to be difficult. Iv had my soil gauge in it for over a week and it reads low ph @5.2/5.3 but my run off is bloody 7.4. I put another 500ml of plain water ph’d to 5.5 to see if that would slightly reduce run off but it put it even further out @7.6. With no change on the soil gauge.
Apon reading more on PH meters I will buy another couple and handle them with better care and see if my readings change.
Any help on this would be much appreciated as I’m now confused.com

Next time you water that ph'ed problem plant, in one go give it ph 6.0 water till the runoff number changes to 6.0.
Give it one gallon checking the runoff if it hasn't changed give it another gallon checking the runoff and repeat......
It may take 6 gallons but it will change just do it in one go.
Let it dry out then feed.

I’m finding it extremely difficult to ph my tap water. Is this normal? Or do you just have to keep at it to get it bang on.
I mean 1 drop of ph down in 1 gallon throws from 8 down to 4.8 and one drop to much of PH up and back up to 6.8/6.9.

Everybody's water is a little different but it sounds like something is off. To drop a gallon of my water from 6.8 to 6.3 it takes around 3ml of GH ph down
Are you using a syringe to measure?
How are you testing your pH? Drops?strips?pen?
Are you mixing a gallon at a time?
Next is you DO NOT want to use PH down and then ph up on the same water, it can make it toxic. This may be why it is incorrect after feeding.
If I drop the pH a little too far, I add un-ph'ed water to bring it back up, but if it drops to low I start over.
Your plants are not looking like you are having any problems from the past pictures so the last thing you want to do is go changing things up if you don't need to. Don't read to much into your runoff if your plants look healthy.
Just focus on dial in your feeding practice.

I measure my ph run off with a digital pen. Iv rarely ph’d plain water as I add nutes every feed and a very simple couple of drops of ph up gets it to my 6.4/6.5 target.
I will keep an eye on new growth from my plants as my 2 bigger ladies have shown spots on their leaves like a calcium definciency but obviously it’s ph issues.
I think jut better watering/feeding practices as you say will improve it.

Day 68 in the big sister house.
So so I went for the flush on my big plant. Flushed 2g/10l with plain tap water to 6.1 and checked the run off after 1g and then again after 2g. Still reading 7.8 🤦*♂ï¸
Iv decided I’m not messing about with her any more, just going to keep giving her nutrients as normal and see how things go.
I trimmed some more leaves off to keep them all opened up to my pathetic little light. But good news! Iv ordered a 450W viperspectra. Doing some calculations this should increase my light by roughly 66% going by the average power draw of both LED’s.
My Photo LSD is looking big and bushy in her veg stage. I took some close up pictures of her as I see lots of growth tips like she wants to flower but she is still on 20/4 light cycle. Can any one fill me in on this? My rh is between 39%/45%
Took some more photo’s of the canopy tonight as well....
