Finally a New Grow Area

If you can keep humidity and temps where they should be without that sort of air movement thatd be the way I'd go

The intermittent timer would be programmed to run the exhaust for a few min every X. That could be 1 hr, 10 hr whatever is needed. Wont be an issue for me this time since they ended up being staggered, but it they were all harvested same time then the tent with intermittent timer would be better option then just cool dark place.

The sd x oz and the ww x sd both turned out to be of the highest grade weed, really strong and beautiful tight little buds. Being able to keep temps down under 75⁰F or 24⁰C with that low humidity around 40% I reckon is key to these things....and all the light they'll take of course.

420 in a couple of days...time to give the vape the big clean up

Bluey the SDxOZ is coming along, but it is a few weeks behind. If you look you can see it in background.

Little update with the girls that finally got straightened out this winter grow.. The scxcckxbb is finishing up and flush has been started. Note this stain with or with out bb genes has always produced a lot of frosting but not this time around. Curious, for the mean time adding molasses to the flush in hope it will take on more resin.

All coming along nicely bro. How many days veg on those girls?

Is this your 2nd grow of the SD x OZ?

Would like a smoke report once properly cured. It's exceptionally well liked here, glad I got more than a few jars.

2nd grow with sd x oz. I started out with the sd x oz x cck cross but all of them went male! Wasted time etc resorted to fem seeds from Mr Franklin "in the wind". ??

We have 3 stages the sc cross has entered 10 week of flowering and just trying to flush her for a few days, then lights out for 2. Strange, this strain has always produced a lot to tric s but this time not so. I was hoping the molasses in the flush would produce more resin.

I veg them all long enough to set them up for smurf tent - They get topped 3 rd or 4 th node depending on plant and once that starts to grow out; I start to tie them down. I prefer to leave them under cfl long enough to top and let them start to recover before moving them under leds. Usually 3 weeks in cfl veg, then a week or two under led in veg. They need to be pretty mature before flowering. I guess my target weight is around a pound of cured bud.

The sd x oz is the tallest and I have started to s.c some of the stems with finger roll and bend if I did not tie them down.

note: There is almost always a splitting issue at the stalk. You can see tape on both. Perhaps I need to top much higher at he node to help circumvent the stalk splitting. It would not be an issue if just manifolding but since they get aggressively tied down they split.

I look at my plants wrong and they just shed limbs to piss me off. I think it was a ww x sd and I kept bumping it and limbs just kept tearing off....some snapped right off but still saved them with the good old teflon tape if I caught them in time. I always top directly under the next higher node but still get splits.

Letting them veg longer will produce a higher THC % bud on a per gram measure and if your up around 8 weeks veg time a pound gets real...

Lack of trichomes I'd put down to maybe a slightly higher humidity.

You haven't started using synthetic plant growth regulators have you? They kill trichome production, and those that smoke them. Very bad stuff. Often sold as bud boosters and other bullshit marketing speak. I used to use natural ones when I grew outdoors, mostly kelp based. They don't hurt you, will pack on the buds but trichome production drops off.

O - Have been using kool bloom, but it has been used in the past with no issues. I did suspect q.c issues with nutes this time, with all the trouble experienced trying to get the winter grow going. I was even trying to run down product labels on g.h trio. Ended up replacing coco, bloom, and cal mag at different times...

I have slit branches in past and they went un noticed until it was pretty much to late.. Might think about wrapping that first node up in tape before it even has a chance to spit next time..
