I want to put my girl in the sun, but I'm afraid she'll be pollinated by some random neighbor's male (it happened to me). What is the fertility window for a flowering girl? I don't want to keep my girl inside for the whole 7-8 weeks flowering period.

They're kind of like bunnies. They're always fertile. As long as they have white pistils they can get pollinated.

My honest opinion, if you have neighbors who have male plants nearby, Id keep my plant inside. The last thing you want happening is to work several months on a great plant, to have it pollinated, and even worse pollinated by a strain you don't want. If your trying to save on lighting, I might try building a frame using 2x4's then staple clear plastic around it and use a clear silicone to seal up any openings so nothing can get in. If you have children, then forget what I said. You don't want any children climbing under this, as they can suffocate. Also if it is safe to do, make sure you don't bake the plant if its too hot. I made something similar years ago when I was a kid back in the 80s. Was trying to grow cherry tomato's and built it to keep the huge infestation of caterpillars from munching on my plants.

Best days of pollination i have read are "between day 24 and day 32 of flowering" But that is info you want if you WANT your plant pollinated,if you don't,just keep it inside...
