FastBuds, Fastberry -C4 DAY 9D

Jude wanted to say, I cut that Ripleys OG, down, she was ready, all she got the last week was molasses and water ,and that was only once, she had done stopped drinking, an was feeding off of her leaves, they were damn near all yellow.
But I cut all the buds up and they are in the brown bags now. She was about 20-30amber, and gummy, and sticky as hell, and smelled to high heaven.
I been using a Phillips 3100, all the time, but the last 2weeks I been using a 10k lamp-bulb, it's called a finishing lamp, I think. And it seems to have done a good job of tightening and making them buds gummy, but I'd like to know what DANGERDAN says, I might be wrong, but it sure seemed like it helped.

Agree with Daas. Of all the critters we have here in Virginia, the cottonmouth gets the most respect. And I'm not the least bit afraid of snakes in general. Even the wildlife guides here say DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HANDLE THIS SNAKE! We have Copperheads & Timber Rattlers, too, but of the three, the Cottonmouth's venom is most often fatal.

Nice looking plants :)

I am going to have to say that light spectrums do not affect flower morphology. Photoreceptors function to directly effect leaf and stem morphology only. Which is primarily during vegetation. Although photoreceptors are responsible for the induction and continuance of flowering, different wavelengths of light do not activate photoreceptors during flowering which change the floral morphology or development. The florist industry has found though that it is possible for color or pigment changes to occur with different wavelengths of light.

What may be interesting is that the 10k ceramic halide may produce some significant levels of UV, which has been shown to stimulate the development of resin and THC in cannabis. Though ceramic halide manufacturers were claiming UV emssion from standard 3100k bulbs which has been shown not to be the case due to the nature of natural filtration of the ceramic arc tube. Where as the quartz arc tube in standard metal halide allows the transmission of UV.

DANGERDAN, thanks man, but I still think the 10k,, finishing lamp had alot to do with the sticky-gummy part , but that was my first time using the 10k, but I will continue using it ,just to see, for sure.
Thanks again DangerrDan

The sticky/gummy could be a result of the possibly higher UV with that bulb. So i would say that is definitely possible. :)

Yes ive been thinking about trying switching back to mh light the last week. Have to remove the glass from what i have read to get the benefit of the UV. But that is easy enough to do and my temps stay pretty low so may be worth a try.

Thanks mcubed476, I was just in there, turning over the buds in the bag, for the first time, but forgot all about getting any pictures. Lol
But if I get 3ozs dry, I will be happy ,but I'm expecting a little more maybe,
I just wish i had a way of taking trich pictures, because these amber trichs are beautiful.
Thanks again 476, and good luck with your plants too.
I guess I could take pictures of the brown bags all folded up. ,haha

I'm not good at bud pictures, but I'm gonna try to put one on here that came from the Mephisto, Ripleys OG.
Only got 112 grams, dry, from her, the buds have been in brown paper bags 6 days, at 52percent humidity , now they are in jars, But they really are hard, sticky, and even smell great, can't wait till they have been in the jars, a couple of 3-4weeks.
