Ez clone diy humidity etc

Hey

So made myself a small ezclone type thing. First time using it. Ive read a shit load but still unsure...

water temp is about 23 -26 (when it gets to 26 i add ice) air temp is abput 23c but humidity is down at 40% ... ec is .31 (202 ppm..) thats tap water.... pH is 6.1 ... 3x 27w cfl for lights.

4 clones (3x bubbas gift... one unknown) 2 days in atm

now will the humidity be an issue with this as ive read clones like high humidity.... they are in a closet with insol on 3 sides (insol is insulation with a reflective backing... sorta like mylar but this was free ) thr 4th side is the back of the mirror (not reflective)

Your light and temp look ok, it's best to stay slightly below 23c when cloning. I would adjust your pH to 5.6-5.8. I take clones every 45 days and I get a 95% rooting rate with that pH range. I clone without a humidity dome and have had good results in lower humidity so I wouldn't worry too much about humidity so long as the water temp and pH are correct.

Sweet cheers.. ill drop the pH tonight when i recheck it. Water temp is the worst to keep. That bloody pump heats up too much.. was at 26 this morning. Dropped the water and added fresh..

Try hooking it up to a timer so it sprays for 30 seconds and rests for 1 minute. The pump won't run long enough to heat up.

Sweet.. ill try that.. i think i have a spare relay for my arduino thats monitoring it all. Didnt think of that one. Need some decent misters. The ones i can buy off the shelf in australia suck. Going to order some ezclone misters and sde if they are better (amazon as ezclone are trying to charge 175$ US for shipping for 25 heads lol)

15 on 15 off (only timer i could find without spending shit loads) and still getting 25-26c :/ might have to do some wiring and automate it with the arduino :/ 1 on 5 off is what im going to go with.. i guess other option is to use a chiller it seems overkill haha
