he means let the dome up to let the humidity out, thus "burping" the whole apparatus....or at least that's what i think he means....
 
I just gently grab by the seed shell and place the taproot facing down in your medium then put under a cfl. Learning this gentle touch comes in handy when u have a spout tht has the shell or membrane stuck on it just Iil pinch at the right angle and the membrane comes right off
 
Oh and asfor the rappid roots I'm sure u could germinate in this fine but the paper towel method basically let's u no the seed will sprout in a few day instead of the week long wait tht suck just starting at the rappid roots wondering are the gana pop or not lol
 
Burning also refers to the curing process basically opening your jars and shaking the nuggs around to let old air out and new air in also helps prevent mold
