I'd suggest not to mess with the roots anymore. I'm guessing it's just experiencing some transplant shock. Especially since you went from soil to hydro. She should recover for you!

Geese I hope you washed off those roots really well. Soil can mess up water pumps if you are top feeding.
Roots need both air and water. Adjusting water level above the net pod is not typically recommended. I suppose it’s ok as long as you have an air gap letting the roots closer to the plant be exposed to the air.

Soil to DWC is definitely the hardest transplant on the actual plant. I’ve done it before and your plant should be fine, it just needs time to adjust. I’m guessing you had it in a halfway decent potting soil to start so it probably had some beneficial microbes to help it take in nutrients in its early stages, most soils have mycorrhizae to help start the plants. Now that it’s in DWC if your not providing the mycorrhizae the plant needs to adjust to life without it, you need to adjust as well. Your pH needs to be kept in the 5.5-6.5 range so the plant can take what it needs, if your pH goes out of range you don’t have that friendly mycorrhizae to compensate. What you’ve done is equivalent to dropping an American with no knowledge of French language in the middle of the countryside in France where the residents have no knowledge of the English language. Your plant and it’s new DWC environment don’t know how to communicate and work together yet and you just fired your interpreter.

Yeah I got rockwool starters for next go around. Just not sure how to go about that method and how long before the drop. I have no .mini greenhouse either people say just keep moist in a plate. Idk don't wanna waste expensive seed.

I used miracle grow tomatoes food when in dirt as for dwc kit came with a pre mix I did full strength then realized not a good way so poured out a gallon or so added water and adjusted pH with vinegar . I have some gh Flora on the way hope it gets here soon.

Well it's looking even worse this morning. Top is now droopy as well I hope this comes through. Top dropped once before and straighten d up so.
