Done the LST, now what??

I feel like I've gotten the best results by giving each individual cola about 2-3 inches of space to itself as part of a wide, flat canopy.



This lets each cola get plenty of light and air, while still leaving room to expand. So I think the max number of colas could be very different based on the number of plants and the area of the space.

I do agree with MoreNurgzPlz that indoor manifolded plants seem to produce really well with around 8 or possibly 10 main colas in the end. If you want more than that I feel like you'll get better results with more plants than trying to get a manifolded plant to make a whole lot more colas :)
 
Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to put a blue dream into the flowering tent today! it's been vegging for 9 weeks!
 
Interesting question Sonny! I'll be posting pics soon of my auto that has way more than eight bud sites as it is a couple weeks into flower...the sites are now starting to grow up and out, so I'm curious at how big each will finally get I'm surrounding every square inch with CFLS as close as possible. I'm not opposed to many smaller buds...time will tell! 😊
 
You will oppose it when it comes time to trim...

The main reason I'd like to manifold some day would be for ease of trimming.
 
Understandable Nugs for others with greater production, but for me and my one plant harvest, it is a joy to spend the time trimming! 🌱

Tika, if you want to deal with around 8+ colas. You can follow "My Girls so far" grow. I did no topping, just LST from my 4th node on. They are currently in the 2nd day of 12/12.
