I'm a newer grower and I don't know what you mean so I can't answer your question but I'd like to learn what a '3 light roation' (rotation?) is?

i do, although i too am not sure what you mean exactly...it is my first grow and i plan on alternating between 3 different "main" lights, and 2-3 supplemental lights, so if you mean by 'rotating' alternating between various lighting depending on needs/what i see my plants "liking" then yes...

I believe he is referring to The Perpetual Harvest ,where you have 3 tents(or more) one for each stage and you harvest almost all year round! And yes there are people doing it that way on GWE,an interesting one is Beach_Town_Brit who is doing an Autoflower perpetual grow!!What a timeframe huh!

I don't have the space to do it but I would if I could.
1 light = harvest every 90 days
2 light = harvest every 60 days
3 light = harvest every 30 days

I know this might be a totally wrong thing to say and a wrong way to put it...But autos can go with 24/0 schedule and it's not worth it cloning them so i figured..
3 lights would enable you to harvest every 20 days?

For my first year of growing I did a two "tent" continuous grow. Vegged under CFL for 2 months, took clones just before shifting plants to flower tent and grew out those clones in veg tent etc. In theory it's good but in practice you're still waiting 10 weeks or so for a harvest (then a month of curing...) and if you want to grow different strains with different flowering cycles then the whole system gets a bit messy.

My plan for the autos is to just use my main tent (2x4) and grow 3 different autos, planted a month apart. Hopefully once it gets going I'll be harvesting once a month or so. I'm going to use my old veg area to grow out seeds for my buddy's outdoor grow space once spring rolls around.

It would depend on exactly how many days from sprout to harvest and divide into the number of tents or spaces you have. So a 60 day strain put into 3 diferent tents 20 days apart will become perpetual. But none of this really matter with autos cause you can just plant them 20 days apart and keep them under the same schedule and you will harvest every 20 days as long as you can fit enough plants. With autos all tents are perpetual

It deserves a mention,it's the first one i have bumped into man!!Spill that knowledge out for us I was also thinking about the autos but instead in a 6pot or 4pot RDWC system a month apart from each other!Since i am totally in for 24/0 lights on autos i will have no problem at all!!Sounds really good to be honest!

I am thinking of doing a total "newb" grow in terms of using nothing but defoliation and seeing 4 ladies grow,maybe if i upgrade and get my leds i can use the second tent for photos,but i am really thinking of switching to autos now that their THC has gone so high and they are coming in so many variables!

Here is my set up. Works well for me. Get about 5 harvest a year. They are staggered due to issues Beach_Town_Brit mentioned of doing multiple strains at once. Fun project!
