HELP! DIY Drip ring uneven flow

Hi,

I'm probably short on some physics lessons here. I've got a DIY Drip ring with 20 rings. Some flow better than others. Using a 1000 L\h submersible pump attached to a 12mm hose attached to a 12mm to 9mm fitting attached to a 9mm hose attached to 8mm Y fitting attached to one 9mm hose on both of the Y fitting ends which is attached to 20 T 8mm fittings attached to 20 separate 9mm hose attached to 20 separate T 8mm fittings attached to the drip ring hoes. The drip ring has 2 very small holes drilled in it on opposite sides of the ring.

Someone here probably has gone through the same ordeal and has solved the problem. Looking for your advice.

I drew a pic it helped ok so if u replace that 8mm hose u have looped around attached to the y and use somthing big 50 mm or somthing then they will all run the same pressure. If not u need to put a tap or restrictor on each line and tune it
 
I don't believe they will get equal press. as flow passes each ring you will lose more and more psi.as you lose water volume. Have you thought about making it complete circuit with a Y at the pump and provide press. from each end?
 
PRIMO good suggestion. I'll try that tomorrow. I think I also need to change all the fittings from 8mm to 9-10mm because some have a very minor leak.
abadtrip I don't think that's it. Going bigger will yield less pressure I believe. Correct me if I'm mistaken.
 
Spending more money is not an option and flowering has started. It's a post scrog setup, so hand watering is a pain in the ass for 20 bushy dense plants. I'm gonna need a new back very soon.
 
Howdy Bartholomew, To keep an even flow and pressure to all of the drip rings, the feeder lines should be kept the same length. If the lines are different lengths, the pressure will not be the same to all of the rings. the shortest lines will have less resistance and the longer lines will have greater resistance (due to line loss) and less flow. The lines, being the same length, do not make a 'neat and tidy' installation, but proper flow is what you want. I run quad outlet air pumps (four air stones) and make the lines the same length to ensure that the stones farthest from the pump receive the same flow as the ones closest to the pump.
 
My first thought was this, also looping the circuit back to the pump would also likely work as long as the pump has the gpm
 
Flowing water, like electrical current, will always take the path of least resistance. The 'trick' to get an even flow without using expensive flow compensator and or regulators is to make the system balanced so that all outputs receive an even amount of water. This is sort of like the veins in a leaf, branching out equally or symmetrically.
 
Hey Yes I have a looped circuit at the Y fitting and yes the lines are the same length +- 1-2cm. Gonna try larger fittings tomorrow to eliminate leaks. My pump is roughly 260 gph. 1000L per hour.
