oldjarhead100 ha! ...doing a voodoo thing are ya? I appreciate the anticipation and excitement.
Eager for you all to hit the GO button...we’ll probably have a nation wide earthquake😎❤️😎

Roger that. #7 experience and backround? Not sure I get that...you have experience listed more then once. Grow philosophy? Does that entail training? Just want to understand how to answer those things. 😉

Okay ty... I haven't come to my final decisions yet. I'm still up in the air about medium and tent size so I'll pm you soon 😉.

old jar head
4 plants of each strain will start 5 seeds and keep the best 4

my grow space is in the cellar I have a 8'by5' tent that I split into 2 sides it has 12 54 watt t5s on one side in 2 fixtures and 300w leds on the other then I built a room last summer its 6'by 12'I have a 1000w hps on a light mover rail, on the side walls I have 100w led light bars I also have 2 of those kind led bars for bloom hanging on the hps light

I start my seeds up stairs I place them in a paper towel soak the towel until runoff put it on a plastic cover and slide it on top of my cable box, then they go under a t5 2 bulb 2 foot fixture until roots show though the root riot cube ,once the roots show I will plant them in one gallon cloth grow bags in roots organic original formula ,at this time I also give them voodoo juice to expand the roots, when roots show though the bottom of the bag I plant them in there forever home 7 gallon heavy duty vivosun bags filled with coco .I also install air injector fixtures to suppy o2 to the roots

I grow in coco with air injection system in the coco
I use vivosun heavy duty 7 gallon bags that actually hold 7 gallons of coco

I use AGE OLD ORGANICS line of nutrients with the following extras voodoo juice I swear by this stuff, humbolts county own deep breath use in veg and G10 in bloom I also use calimajic , molasses and silica
My feed schedule will be daily with different supplements each day like Molasses On Monday ,tea on Tuesdays, Wednesday is kelp, fish and seaweed ,Thursday Calimajic ,Friday is folier essence Saturday is a different tea if any and Sunday is silica

I have been growing indoors since 2014 and outside off and on for years when I set up my tent I started a ton of bag seed then I had a bunch of nutrients from the Boston grow show in 2014 divided the plants up and tested them all I liked the results of age old the best so thats who I went with, at this time I have to say one of the plants was a Sativa couldn't get it to bloom for ever after a couple of months I was ready to toss it and then shasamm it popped ,well the yield on that plant was incredible so when I saw what the possibility's were I was hooked , My bloom light has not been off in ages lol, I still grow outside as well

I am native so I try and be one with the earth, meaning a very small footprint I have been growing veggies for years and just kinda flowed into growing weed ,I retired in 2008 from the transit system in Boston mostly because I had constant pain in my legs couldn't climb up into trains very well and it was time, when I retired I went to a pain clinic, they put me on Morphine and oxcycodone .it worked for a little while but the dose kept going up and up ,well when I retired a friend gave me a joint (couldn't smoke when I worked for the T random drug tests) so I knew it worked to stop the pain ,I finally gave up on the opiods and switched to herb ,granted I smoke a ton of weed but it gets me though the day. My experiences with the T gave me a background in electronics, pneumatic s,hydraulics, hvac, attention to detail my attitude these days is if I can take it apart I can fix it lol

My grow philosophy is that its my job to give the plants the very best opportunity to be the best they can.

I grow cannabis because of pain .After I relized how much work it was, I could see someone using pesticides , or anything else that might save a dime

I'm looking forward to the challenge because imagine what we can learn from each other ,what works ,what doesn't work stuff like that I don't view it as a competition, I look at it like a learning grow

Hows this Campesino

Campesino

I don't know if I can make it. Still haven't bought seeds and I can't afford it. Anyone else in western Oregon bought already? Perhaps we can meet up soon, I gotta drive to PDX and back this week. If I can't buy then I'm out, perhaps I can be a judge/ committee-member, sorry Campesino, luv ya bro

PM me if you wanna figure out. I got lots of usable product I can trade/ send for some seeds all! Not officially or anything...

I'm in WA my gc are spoken for I'm doing 2of each hoping they pop the 1st go. I did a 5 pack and one was cracked. Never got my replacement seed even though it was sent and said so on my account.

farmerjim are you going to the freedom rally in Boston I was supposed to go to Stevestock yesterday but was in pain when I got up at 430 then add a 2 hour drive on that and I would of been a miserable prick for the day no matter how much I smoked .
I could take the train in to Boston so that would help let me know maybe we could hook up

Pretty sure i will be. check out the commonwealth cannabis cup link in my profile! They're starting up a homegrow competition ! I dont have the required 28g for entry from my first but my buddy has 3 strains he might enter... if I get enough harvested from my current grow in time then I may join him (2 strains allowed per entry)

hey King kush I am planing on growing 4 and 4 I thought I bought 10 dgth but I only got 6 .The way I like to do it is start all the seeds then use the best 4 for this challenge I can get away with 5 seeds so that leaves 1 extra that you can have.if there is 3 others that have 1 seed then you are all set for the dgth

Just an Idea PM me with info if you want it

I'll check mine too, I think I got 6 and was only planning to run 2 and 2 for the challenge... keep me inthe PM loop

Sorry had to share this part of the email article if you continued reading it was nicely written. Thank you @SiriusFourside

The truth is that no one is the perfect grower. Even growers with lots of growing experience and seemingly perfect plants run into problems occasionally. I know that I run into my fair share of problems as well. If you’re hoping to have 100% pristine plants from seed to harvest, it’s likely that you’re setting yourself for a bit of disappointment.

Besides, what matters is the end result. If your plant is happy, a few leaves that don’t look perfect isn’t the end of the world. In fact, it’s the norm!

If you’re thinking of beating yourself up over a mistake you’ve made, instead, ask yourself this question:
Did I learn something that will make my next grow better? Am I still happy with what I have?

If you answered yes, you’ve already won. Remember, the only person you’re competing with is you. You’re growing medicine for yourself, so it only has to meet your requirements. If you’re happy with the bud you’re harvesting, you’re a successful grower.

Lesson learned: The only person you need to impress is you. If you love what you’re producing, that’s all that matters!
