57 years old. been blessed with good health. Never have I experienced anything like this. I might not even have it.

Haven’t felt good all month with a runny nose,A slight head cold and very low energy. Overly stressed as my Mother passed away 13 days ago. I developed an annoying headache that wouldn't seem to go away [I very seldom have headaches ]. Then a constant pressure in the center of my chest for about 2 days.

A slight fever which got worse [105]as my chest improved.In two nights I sweated 10 lbs[felt like].Waking up numerous times freezing because I was soaking wet.

Feels like my whole head is swollen. My hair hurts.Every muscle in my body aches.

Called the doctor he said Go to the nearest Urgent Care call them from the parking lot ,they would come out and do a quick swab for a test.Called Urgent Care First, they said don't come they didn't have any test but they called me in a z-pack.If I still had a fever afterwards go to the ER.

A five-day supply of pills ,Two pills day one, followed by one a day until gone. The first night with the two pills was the longest night I can ever remember my head felt like it might explode. an annoying voice. I hope The worst is over with now,

The second night I thought it went pretty good compared to previous. My wife woke up wanting to know if I was ready to go to the ER. When I woke up at times Evidently I was pretty ill & grouchy.

Starting to feel better, my fever broke.


Fourth night feel like I'm on the road to recovery except absolutely no energy ,drive.

About 7 hours into the pill for some reason my left arm started going numbTrying to use my right arm to move it my right started becoming week.Tried to chillax breathe deep seem to get my composure.Took a couple puffs I felt better. Until I stood up my arms and Leg not really wanting to help. A long night then slept about all day.Dreading what kind of surprises might come with the last pill.


About 7 hours into the last pill so far so good, not trying to push it.

I know my babies are fine but I hear them calling

Dear Farmer Joe, Bless you and your family during this awful heartbreaking time. It does sound like you have a type of upper respiratory ailment but the zpac seems to be helping? Please do not hesitate to seek further help if things really don't improve. Do drink lots of fluids and rest is so very important. As you think you feel better do not push it, give yourself time and lots of it. Stress does terrible toll to our bodies and we just don't bounce back from severe flu if our body is weak from other events going on. Do take care and I hope the sun is shining today for you. Peace
 
The urgent care called in a zpac for you but you never made to a hospital where they could actually test you? What is wrong with this picture? I would go to the ER asap and bring the wife.
 
They will not let you in without an appointment here, they wont even say where the testing is until you have an appointment.
 
Wanted to update. thanks for all the kind words. second day with no pill feeling much better. slight headache yesterday hopefully its gone. energy slowly seems to be returning.

I think that Z-Pak really helped. even though some nasty side effects. The county I live in reports zero cases, I guess not when they won't test you. I just hope it's over for me, Afraid my wife is getting it.I hope not! if so hope I'm able to take as good care of her as she did me God bless her. Still considering myself contagious for 14 days after first day of feeling better. Lots of water ,Vicks Vapor Rub, ice cream were my friends. At my worst- delirious an annoying voice Whispering bullet. It's some evil s***

Try to be positive bro, there is a silver lining. I'm locked down with the one person on this planet that means more to me than you could ever imagine. That's it. If we gotta go I only hope it's together. OK that's how I feel cause I love, her but truth be told I, aint ascared of no kung flu. Bring it on, I'll kick it's ass
 
It is an absolute outrage that test kits are so unavailable. This truly shows that health care for profit is a failure. Your symptoms sound exactly those of Covid19. Chris Cuomo of CNN contracted the infection, and has been doing live updates from his basement where he is self quarantining. He has saved his wife, and children from suffering this horrible disease. He is the younger brother of Governor Cuomo. It is a travesty that your wife may have to go through your experience. If you had access to a test you could have self quarantined as well.
