Confused again and need help pls!!!

Hello all, As some of you know I am a first time grower, I have been a GWE reader for a long time and have, in recent weeks, become even better informed because of this forum. I have been looking at others setups(green75, tika, karlee and royal nugs to name a few) and they are all awesome, problem is, mine isn't!!! I have done the best I could but now I am thinking "is it enough?" I would just like some opinions please, I am growing in plagron royalty mix soil, I have them in 16litre smart pots, I have started using canna terra bloom about 4 waterings ago at half strength( I stagger with just ph water)and i have them under 405watts of cfl. Thanks guys for all if any replies:wink:

The soil and nutrients are reputable products. You are articulate and intelligent. I can't imagine what problems you could be having...

Not really problems royal, just first time jitters maybe, plant A is about 3-4 weeks in flower, plant B showed pistils on 20/9/2016 but has done nothing since really, it's leafs are a lighter green too. I don't know whether to add something high in p+k as well.

It's the first time and it takes FOREVER, I was bonkers all the info in my head I wanted a place to ask and be reassured I wasn't killing my investment.

Through the smoke I see happy pot waiting for harvest

I think Green has the right point on the lower fan leaves are taking energy that can go to making bigger bud.
My set up 2 plants I let them get to 14-15 in and 12/12 my tent was packed and more light needed to get below or I'd have had more.

This grow was for you to learn what to expect and the next ( you're thinking of it right now) will be bad ass and the next , oops just is better then the last!

Every grower goes through this....more than once.
see this grow out as is,you are doing great. Don't judge what other people do and second guess yours. My set up now could of been totally different...I was going to throw in a 1000 watt glass tube cooled hps light in my 3X3X6 tent, because I know wattage is KING....BUT I was talked out of it by my garden shop dude....for various reasons ....but my point is I'm only pushing 315 watts now....do I believe I can do better with a 1000 Hell yes I've done it over and over. Am I happy with my set up....HELL yes I AM...I PROBLY GOT OFF TOPIC....master what you have then move on......always taking knowledge with you.

are your plants healthy, are you learning, are you enjoying them and yourself
my middle name is "hardway", I had 1 person advising locally- the rest was GWE & newsletter which is always timely ( my poor hydro guy) for which I drove 1.5 hrs RT to drill with questions then go reread GWE.
I think you will find your progress and understanding will grow by leaps and bounds...it is not a linear process and..now you have the forum. You are doing fine!

I don't want to be a downer and I agree 100% with what all have said. But it does seem odd that plant B showed white pistils over a month ago, and then they just stopped, whereas plant A is progressing nicely.
 
Thanks tika, you're right, I am having an awesome time growing, it's so good to have you guys as I'm in stealth mode with all this, my head would have blitzed without you all:)
 
That's what I think, it hasn't totally stopped dead but it's painfully slow going compared to plant A
 
First time is a little nerve racking for sure! 😵 You're definitely on your way, with this and experimenting on future grows, to having some awesome times growing!! 😊
 
Sometimes the encouragement is all we need to take the edge off the stress of thinking we've done something wrong with our plants! Awesome!
 
Your never to old to learn,I learn something new every day.Im 65+been an indulger for many of years and just decided to see where this wonder product came from. Got the grow tent,equipment, read on here,asked questions but found many of my questions already answered on here.Im on my 4th week of growth and still waiting to be able to sex my plants .asked about it on here and giving them more time to tell me what they are. Was told females usually take longer to let you know.Everybody keep it up us ole farts need help often

I love the fact help is close by , ask before you do something major and it will save you time and you get different opinions.
