Cloning solution

Huh new to me Sww but a lot is LOL If all goes well with my clones i'm going to do 2 mama mia from seedsman 1 burnt cookie and 2 WW in a 48x48x76 grow tent with 2 vipraspectra 450R takes abit longer with so many but it will keep me happy growing in winter. Keep them low and train I hope. Hmm I may of just bit off a bit more than tent may handle....reconsidering now.
 
I have not tried the aloe, my brother is now, willow tea is natural aspirin ( I have read these can be used to make hermies) which I have not used either (I have a willow tree so,,) I have use apple cider vinegar for PH down, the plants liked it.
 
Thought I would share this. If you have Instagram checkout Clackamas Coot on there a lot of good info. He is no longer active on social media by the info is there just look it up.

I have my clones in aloe from my plant I will update post on results. I have some I took from flowering mother so it may take longer but I have a couple from a younger mom. I know when I used clones it was around 10 days before seeing roots so I’m shooting for that or better otherwise I will be going back. Fingers crossed
 
That’s what I did awaiting results. The plant has been extra useful this week first my clones and now my dogs itchy sore spots. Seems to work well on the dog and hoping as well on the clones.
 
Cool I’m sure you’ll be happy. Also look up kelp meal for your dog. Kelp supposed to promote healthy skin and more for pets. At the vet you can get the capsules for an arm and a leg or you can source quality kelp meal and add a teaspoon or so every time you feed..

I am trying the aloe currently fingers crossed. I am interested in hearing about your brothers results also if you could update post when you know anything and I will also. I didn’t have willow tree any around and will try aspirin next set of clones. This has been a great post so far as far others learning something new including myself. So I hope everyone sticks around for results
 
Thankyou I hadn’t heard that before I will definitely look into it as I need something to control the allergy and not just the scratching sore areas. The aloe has helped on those though so we are getting there. I know the has costed me a lot and I still don’t have answers. She has been in 3 times for this and he always gives antibiotics and steroids which help the current problem but not the whole problem. First time said it was flea allergy which was possible at that time but she hasn’t had any in over a year. I have wet her down combed through and everything I don’t see anything on her. It always starts getting bad in July and calms down around September October. Anyway I know this is about cloning so I will change subject but thankyou for the tip
 
Hey everyone just wanted to say great post I think there is something for most people to learn here on cloning. I hope you guys will continue to follow for updates and results being tried and hope that you chime if you are trying any cloning methods you may know or try. So please stick with as there a couple people experimenting and I know I will post results and hopefully they do to. So watch over the next two weeks for results if interested. Just to confirm my post I found on cloning methods the honey can be used but isn’t known for its cloning agents but it’s sanitizing agent. The aspirin, aloe, willow tree, apple cider vinegar and kelp are the main rooting agents. The cinnamon has some rooting agent but known for its anti fungal properties. So myself I used the cinnamon and aloe to achieve both affects.
 
I haven’t cloned for years but used honey on the cut, as you are simply trying to prevent an air embolism and almost anything will work.
As far as a cloning solution, I used GH rapidstart @ 2 mls/ gallon of water.
 
He likes it, and I will try it. He splits a fresh leaf and sticks the cutting in it then plants it (not in the aloe leaf).
A girl I used to know worked for a florist, they used aspirin in the water to keep the roses looking fresh longer, I have used this for transplants to help with shock, I now use voodoo juice for that,,,
I am here to learn, and help IF I can,, LOL
 
CC42010 I too have an itchy dog, after tons of money spent at the vet we turned to mother nature. We pulled Polk and chopped the root up (1 inch or less) and boiled it over a wood fire until 50% of the water was gone. Let this cool and bathed the dog in it, this worked, we still dont know what was wrong, but he is a happy boy now!

BTW we were told flea allergy, as well as grass, corn you name it they said it, (yes we tried all those diets/meds and over priced foods) and they were all wrong! I keep Polk root around (it grows wild all over) and if he gets itchy he gets treated! He had lost about 60% if his hair by the time we treated him.
 
I popped one cutting out yesterday, 8 days and it has roots (with water only). I will do more checking today and all with roots get dirt!
So many methods that work, from just sticking them in the ground to elaborate machines. The Mazar I Sharif did not take to cloning in water, but the 1 I lost to root rot outdoor left a limb behind. I spotted it (next day) and moved it to a small (pint) pot, left it in full on sunshine with no roots at all, and told her "live or die" I did not even water it (still had rains), or expect it to live, It is still alive and growing now!
 
You will get roots in about 7 days if you use GH rapidstart, and about 1 week if you don't, lol
The difference is what happens after the roots emerge.

Too many growers add too much and the delicate root hairs are damaged, which ultimately slows the plant down.
I agree with plain water- but that was not the question.
