Cannabis seedling drooping

Hi guys. I've noticed that my cannabis seedling seems to be dropping. Any advice? Please help!

I would hang a couple of cfl's about 6 or 8 in. above it. It looks plenty wet, let her dry out some before watering again,and use a tea spoon not a coffee cup. Oh and what Green said.

I had a seedling that seemed about the same. It sprouted fine then started leaning very soon after sprouting. In my case it was fungus gnats and I lost one of four plants. Check for fungus gnats and treat as needed. Try staking it with a toothpick and let it dry out because it looks like possible over watering too. You may even consider transplanting to a new pot with dry soil. Good Luck.

Hey, I put it in the sun outside for a while and it straightened up nicely! Strange. First time growing cannabis.

That may be the case. However I had it under a lamp before putting it outside and it was still drooping. Glad to see it straightened up.

Natan man that finally looks like a cannabis plant wanting to live!!!Well done!I would take Greens advice on the lighting,when in doubt,wait a day! If your seedling start going upwards after the cfl you can't know now as it would need time to recover (not to much not too little)!Change one thing at a time so you know what works and what doesn't and if i may say and gratefully be judged upon this,your medium looks damper than a lake's bottom!

Thanks much, Nartak! It's my first grow so you can understand my nervousness. I'm keeping the plant outside until it gets dark, then I'll turn on the light again and see how that affects it. I know the soil is quite damp, I thought that because it was drooping, maybe it needed some water. I hope I didn't hurt the guy. I'll probably have questions later, but for now -- thank you for the advice

No worries man,im a total newb here also!!Im bouncing off walls the minute i spot a change in the room and im doing 6 of them lol!!!Now that you have watered it let it drain out and toss ur runoff!Let it dry out a bit so the soil gets aired and you dont loose ur roots!! Also there is a good chance your humidity will skyrocket once u put in under the lights,don't do so in a really shut area so you avoid leaf-cupping and curling!!!Other than that keep ur pants on,i was taking photos of them every 3-4 hours as if something changed!!Im not saying don't be hyped,by all means trash the place if you feel like it!!!

But it will be a slow process watching one plant growing from a single set of leaves till its 4th 5th node in 20 days from now!!!

Sounds great to hear! My only concern is that the stem will grow too tall. Now I put her under the light again and it seems to bend... I'm worried, not sure what to do :nah: I'm attaching a photo. The plant itself looks fine, it's just that it's starting to bend again...

You're right, Potted. After leaving it under light for about an hour and a half, it straightened up nicely.

Actually man sorry if you are writting somehting as im writing this...Chop chop get a toothpick and something smooth to tie it up straight and leave it there till you figure out a way to loose all that water!!That stem is damp and it wont hold!!!Also it doesn't look lanky it terms of gene growth or lighting lack!! The soil got dry so the seedling stood straight!!Also when there is too much water in the soil the roots don't hunt,the plant is not trying to get it's feet comfy on the ground so it's getting "numb" and falling over..It's not the scientific way of explaining it but i hope it works for you!! Do these to steps or do one at a time (first secure the stem,if the plant is not dying from drowning it will make a harder stem as it grows!Be gentle it might be like grass that you've stepped on!!!

Nartak -- no the light is not sideways. The seeding is under light again and seems to be growing fine. I think you overestimated the amount of water in the pot, I just sprayed the surface (maybe a little too much.)
Attached is a photo of my light and plant. It's definitely not a growing light, but it's the only light I have and it has served me well so far.

Oh boy i thought u had the cfl ON it! Well good thing i remembered to say i was airing the house and could use terms Can you get it closer to the lamp? or get a lamp directly over it? (as in close)
