Can I transplant a clone in soil into coco?

I am thinking about starting my grow with a clone instead of seeds but most clones are planted in soil and I am using coco as a soiless medium to grow hydroponically. Will I be able to transplant and feed the girl hydro nutes under these conditions? Thanks in advance for the help!!

*Update : I bought a clone and it was planted in rockwell so no need for soil -> coco transplant!

Do you mean taking a clone from a soil grow, then rooting it and then putting her into coco?

Thanks! I might pick one up tomorrow. Does the soil dissolve in the coco or does the plant use up the nutrients from the soil or something?

Oh thought you were doing a root riot or rapid rooter plug with clone from mother into coco.
I am not sure in that case. I have had a young plant grown in coco/ my nutrients transplanted into fox far /happy frog into outdoors and do fine.

i say yes as long as your coco recipe is good and lights, etc

I buy a clone occasionally.. I don't think ANY of them were actually in soil, but some type of "soil-less mix." If the pH of the new plant's potting medium is good, no reason to worry. If the pH is off, especially if it's too low, you may want to take the plant out of it's pot and gently wash away some of the "soil" first, then re pot it into coco coir.
