California

So I'm headed to California soon and just wondering if I am able to buy weed there for recreational uses, and if so where would be the best place to go

CA passed recreation use but I don't believe it has gone into to effect yet. With that said, you will be amazed how open marijauna use is there. I live on the East coast where paranoia runs deep and am blown away everytime I visit family in CA!!!

Just north is Oregon and last year the Oregonian gov't collected $141 million in just taxes from cannabis sales

Recreational won't be officially leagal (meaning you can go to a dispensary or other outlet and purchase cannabis. But you can get your CA rec while you are there for about $45.

$40 get you a medical card and you can buy all you can stand specially if your a resident. However it's cheaper to grow your own. 🌴

They don't have actual storefronts yet in California for 21+ weed. They should start opening in January 2018. However, you may be able to get a doctor to give you a recommendation, though it's tough if you don't have a CA License. Some of the delivery services on Weedmaps don't ask for a rec, so you could try calling around and asking for a delivery, and it's possible they may not ask you for your doctor's recommendation. I think they tend to be more lax now since legal weed passed last November.

From what I was reading many cities have made their own laws. My city still doesn't allow stores and actually wanted residents to go get a permit for growing and it could only be done indoors. Months after it passed no one had applied for any permits. I started growing immediately indoor and out and haven't ran into any problems.

I'm in long beach , got in around midnight last night, but I got up Craigslist and got some good weed for cheap, I wish I could go to a store but maybe if I come back next year
