I am 2 weeks in to veg and am seeing what will quickly be a Cal Mag deficiency. My first coco grow so I am being sure to use Cal Mag at 5ml (1 tsp) per gallon (and now more than that).
My weak link has been that the plants are in a cold (64F) room, however with the T5 running 24/7 my plant canopy temperature has been consistently sitting a 77F.
My question is, since the T5 only sends out it's heat a short distance, could my roots be too cold for good calcium uptake, or is root temperature not related to calcium at all?
P. S. I have already taken steps to warm the room to at least 70F.
