Bubba 2....we love you!

Thanks Charlie, much appreciated! Of course my raving about the salad was after chopping up the mostly young leaves with my favorite ingredients and spices, so you can play with using them to suit your culinary demands. 🌿 A great 2017 to you! 🌻

Green has influenced
I think fan leaf I think Greenie and Royal Nugs..keeps me plucking as I see their avitars

Pleased to see that you did stress that Karlee! I've spent many years since the Lyme issue trying to eat only the most nutritious, antioxidant rich foods as a way to help heal some of the body damage I suffered. We are indeed what we eat, so food choices should be right up there if we want to work with our bodies in obtaining optimal health. And yes Cannabis helps tremendously, both as edible and as a way to balance our endocannabinoid system, which has so much influence on so many other body systems! 🌻
This is our year!! 🌼

hey rockman, great job! and yes, i'm glad i subscribed---this is a really good thread. i have quick question if you get a chance...and i'm a newbie so if it's something obvious, sorry....how do you get that day description in your photos? that would be incredibly useful for journal purposes. thanks!

Great to have you watching the progress Bob....now I'm feeling the pressure to wrap up this grow successfully! 😊 My Fire tablet is what I use for pictures. It has an editing feature where I usually always crop, adjust the brightness, and use the"text" option to insert whatever I want for text. Not the highest quality pics with this tablet, but it's all I have (no smartphone yet). What will you be using for pics? I would imagine most photo applications have an editing tool with them. 🌿

thank you, that was really helpful. that last questions is what i'm currently trying to figure out, cuz i wanna do a journal, and if i'm gonna go to the trouble of doing it i wanna do it right (thanks, pop!). i didn't know the fire had that capability. i've been a mac user since 1992 and i know next to nothing about other os's or devices. i'm also worried about EXIF information since i'm in that inbetween space between not being super tech savvy but savvy enough to know what i should be worried about. do you have any suggestions?

i saw a post here recently where someone had put their iphone right up on one of those cheap Carson handheld microscopes and man the pics were unreal. i wonder if it would work with your fire....i don't know, just throwin' it out there.

Hey Rockman, can I jump in here and make a suggestion for Bob? There is a new member on here that I knew from another site, Bud Magic has some of the coolest methods (DIY) for getting a good picture with your phone. It can take a picture so close that you can check the color of your Trichomes (clear/cloudy/amber)

Hope this leads you to some super cool pictures. Sorry Rockman, I hope that was okay?

What a good idea I thought you had a microscope ......does your loupe have a light do you need it?

That was great CC! I'm far from tech savvy so I will be learning some new tricks thanks to you all. I'll check with Bud Magic for those camera tips. Never imagined before this forum that I would need to get really sharp pics..before this just took garden pics that were sufficiently good enough for my purposes. Thanks again!

Cool, going to try that very soon! Always had trouble with the loupe trying to get my eyes up to it while inside the plant. Thanks!

Sorry Bob....as you can see in a previous post, I'm lacking in lots of current generation technical skills. Never heard of EXIF stuff. Hope someone hears your plea! 🌻

I have photoshop and you can remove it in the program i guess I should be doing that . Sorry haven't used the one you say just reading a little line about it *Removes bloated metadata, it's compressing it for you I'd check with a pic to see if the exif is missing.

Iet me know with a pic and I'll let you know

Sorry Rock it's like walking into your house and using the phone)

I was just trimming my plants up and tucking them into bed and I'm munching away on my leaves when this new taste appears it's like a peppery (hints like wines have) spicy I guess I'll say and cut into strips thin ones would spice anything up.

We need to experiment with our precious leaves. They taste so good 🥑

What! Really???? Gotta try that! I use the Olloclip on my phone but really need a tripod to hold it steady

hey rock, it's that data that your phone or computer or camera automatically assigns to your pics to make cataloging them easy. it's usually time, date, model, location, etc. the default these days is that it comes pre-turned to ON, if you will, and its up the the owner to turn it off.

Thanks Bob, I'll have to look into that. I dd turn off the location function on my tablet...maybe that transfers to the camera? Even so, is there a big worry about that if your state has legal recreational? I'm not a paranoid much....grew for a year not legal, and felt ok. Thanks again for responding.
