Broke out the good camera.

I was using my macro lens to sex some of the plants and decided to post some of the results so others can get an idea of what to look for, as well as a few other shots I took.

Those are my wife's tomato plants in the middle. We're trying to create a hybrid. A smokable tomato. Marimato....ok I'll stop.

Very very nice! I may just have to break mine out, the laptop and software.... ya'll better hope not I take more pictures then when I jabber.

This growing project has been inspiring me and healing a lot of old and new things. We lost a nephew at 18 in 2010 lost my inspiration to photograph with him for bit. I use to see in snap shots oddly enough.

Do it! Maybe we could start a thread for high quality pics of everyone's grows, or a photo contest using pics from your grow... or something like that. Could be fun!

Thanks! That macro lens does a great job at getting in close. Should be fun for checking the trichomes.

Marley, thats my take on it too. A good macro can't be beat in my opinion. Besides using it for regular plant pics I prefer it for sexing plants and checking trichomes and pistils. Oh yeah_ and just recently used it to make sure what I was seeing were nana's_ which they were. Lucky for me_ they haven't caused any issues except initial paranoia. But now I will never forget what they look like. Nice to see those pistils poking out of their tiny calyx. Good things to come!
