I just moved two Black Jack plants from veg to the flower room. I used Nugbucket's journal/ tutorial (found on GWE) for 'main-lining' and he used Black Jack for this grow. I followed it exactly and loved the training method. Because, following this method slowed the growth down a bit, I topped them 3 times (for 8 colas) they were 10 weeks old when I moved them to flower. Black Jack is highly thought of in the medical grow community and it is high in both THC and CBDs. I used Fox Farms trio of nutrients at half strength as I've read that Black Jack is sensitive to nutrients. I grow only for myself so I'm not looking for huge yields so I'm happy with using CFLs.
I have a question, too: I moved the two girls one week ago into the flower room and rather quickly a few lower leaves started to yellow and leaf tips look like there is a little nut burn happening. I moved them 3 days after feeding them on the veg schedule - the same one they'd done well with for 10 weeks. Can anyone shed light on why this would happen? (They received their first feeding for flowering stage just yesterday and at half the recommended dose.
