Auto's in soil 12/12? then too..

Due to time and space I may need to put my new auto's with 2 real nice photo's. Photo's still have 4 more weeks until finish at 12/12. That will put my autos at day39ish. Can I take my autos that's have been a 12/12 for 30 days and put them 18/6 at full power? After my photo's finish? or will it fritz out?

Your auto's should be on 18/6 from start to finish. They need lots of light and some growers prefer 20/4. At 12/12 it wont hurt anything except your yields.

Yes, you can change the light schedule "at will" with auto's-without any ill effects.
It's best to have more light during the first 3 weeks, the most crucial time for auto's - setting the stage for its growth pattern- after that- it's smooth sailing.

I first started growing auto's with photo's, to quickly fill any tent space.

Yes That is what I am doing. I thought more power more flower for flowering stage. I always gave autos veg lighting dim'ed in veg.I only have 292w(Mars hydro) true wattage in a 2x4x8. Getting about what looks to be 40-50 grams per plant in soil. I know I can do way better just need to figure out where to improve. I think another 200w would help my PPF and give more flower.

I would look to get better yields before adding light in the 2x4 tent. If you are pulling 292 watts with MarsHydro you should be able to get about 6 oz a grow. ie 2 plants in 5 gallons= 3 oz per plant etc. But if you are not in balance with the parts of the grow- more light wont be effective, as any stress especially in auto's will lower yields.
