Are my plants ready to be flushed?

Hello everyone, I have two plants that are at the end of week 7 of flowering (week 8 starting Monday). They are Blue Cheese (by Big Buddha Seeds) and Blueberry Headband (by Emerald Triangle Seeds). I was wondering when I should flush? I am trying to harvest when I have a few trichomes that have turned amber. I'm thinking of starting to flush the BC tomorrow (week 8) and harvest it by the end of week 8. As for the BBH I'm thinking of continuing its regular feeding schedule for week 8 and flush it during week 9 and harvest it by the end of week 9. Most of the BC trichomes look half clear and half cloudy to me. However the BBH trichomes mostly look clear. Pictures below.

Growing medium: Coco Coir
Lights: 600W HPS
Nutrients: General Hydroponics Flora Grow, Bloom, Micro, and CALiMAGic

I really hate to ever speak up and say this, but at the same time it is also the truth... the books I trust on cannabis written by Ed Rosenthal says "most people harvest their plants to early and lose out on yield, potency, etc..." and I fight it every time myself, I see a couple turning amber and I am looking at the calendar thinking I can set by watch by it... and I end up waiting at least a couple of weeks more to a few more weeks before I harvest. They look like they are ready, and you are ready to jump on it... and then a week or two later you think you missed the key point because now they are all milky again and clear... but you hold on and then they really change and they double or more in size and when they are really ready, there is no question about it. I don't want to speak for others on this subject matter, but that personally has been how its worked out for me almost every time, and a painful lesson I had to learn for myself that really does seem to work out well for me.
 
Great comment/ post. I am guilty of the above even with LEDs that tend to finish early. Thank you Greenthumb
 
Thank you so much for your responses. I have decided I will wait another week and check on them again. It has been a long grow but I don't mind waiting longer. I didn't come all this way just to be impatient.
 
It's like you were telling my story too! Guilty as charged on my first grow. I shall attempt to hold out longer this time around.
