Like the title says,

Doesn't matter what brand, but does anyone here use a 400V digital ballast? If so, what are your thoughts?

I'm interested in the Lumatek 400V/600W model but have never even used a 240V digital ballast. Just wondering if the 400V is as good as it sounds.

I have..and It was Lumatech .got the dimable 400-600-1000. That's when I was in under HPS. As I upgraded I was glad I got that one. Worked just fine 4 me.

No Volts, not Watts.

It takes the standard 230-240V where I live then steps it up to 400V output to the lamp.

I just bought a Lumatek Pro 400V 600W ballast and it comes with the 400V version of the GE 230V bulb I'm currently using.

Increase Par spectrum output, less power draw compared to my magnetic ballast, higher operating frequency = more light, don't have to worry about hot starts. It even has a super lumen setting for 10% more power during flower.

What do u mean by 400v.... there is the normal 120v an 220/240which is a plug for like a dryer... I'm pretty sure there is no HOUSEHOLD 400v... maybe some Industrial use or somethin but u ain't usin a 400volt light.. chances there is 1000 WATT lights or 400 Watt not 400 Volt

No, like the exact ballast I linked in the first post it's a 400V, 600W ballast.

it takes the standard 230-240V domestic supply in Australia & steps the voltage to the lamp up to 400V for increased output.
