COCO COIR Addition of AdvanceNutrients Big Bud to nutrients

Hi, I am currently growing sativa Green Crack feminized. I followed GWE instructions by the book. I am using General Hydroponics Flora nutriment as per GWE schedule. My plants entered 12 -12 mode a week ago. While back, I was given a bottle of Big Bud (from AdvanceNutrient) as sample. This is to be used during weeks 2 to 4 at bloom phase. They claim buds will be bigger and taste better. Is this recommended? The product is 0-1-3 and calls for 2ml per liter. I am using coco + perlite in a tent with LED canopy.
Please advise!
Thank you.

It probably can't hurt if used as directed. The big issue is will it really help. The additional hormones and amino acids are nice but the real question is whether or not another product will fill in gaps in the nutrient program you're already using. No product can force a plant to do something it isn't genetically predisposed to doing in the first place. From my own experience, the biggest boost I've ever seen when growing in coco with bottle nutes came from adding worm castings to the coco. I got a monstrous jump in frostiness (on plants that were capable of doing so) from dosing with WC.

Thanks U-F. I'll give it a try. Since I posted, the question I read on GWE that it should help getting better buds, so I will try. If I see any signs of nuteburn I quit additions. Cheers!

Reminds me when I first went to a hydro shop I got free samples of advanced nutrients. One was B-1 boost something like that with a woman in the front so my sister in law asked my wife is that a boob enhancement product bwahahha. The logos are hilarious and some people fall for them.. interested and wonder if it will work. My guess is it won’t. But how would we know? Are you doing one with and one with out? Otherwise? Did you read the label? How is it different than other products you are already using? And remember proprietary only means water when talking bottled nutrients which is about 98% of what they are made of.
