Abuse by Neglect Grow

And she gets ugly enough to act on:

This was 2 days ago and I added a light feeding of GH micro.

Today:

Notice the brown spots on lower leaves developed along with the mottling = Calcium issues

New growth looks OK- The pot is heavy, so will wait and then begin Si/Calcium with water.

The other issue is the first two leaf nodes are single leaves only-first one is stunted and one normal except for Calcium issue.

Since I'm certain of the nutritional issues- these leaves will be removed, the next time I water the plant, but the pot is heavy as she has just started to grow well.

So Weed Pharma you think that mottling is a calcium issue in the soil? Hmmm i'm wondering if it's the seed strain that feels the deficiency? I used same mix with all my outdoor and only one showed this issue. She is strong grower, no other issue but mottling on one branch never traveled further. It's a cookie strain that's showing this on mine.

Mottling can be from many nutrients/minerals- it wasn't until I saw the developed brown spots, that assured me it was Calcium.
I've only had it last this long, one other time, so not sure if it's strain/watering/soil etc.
After I started routinely adding Si and Cal/Mag to ROO my grows improved dramatically.

She has been sufficiently neglected this week- lifeless-drooping this morning!

gave 1.5 liters watering with Calcium & topped

At 20 days topside- she has bounced back for more neglect!

In flower and the stretch has begun-
It's been 12 days since watering and she was starting to show it- gave 1.5 liters with Si & Cal/Mag for insurance and back into the tent.

Total water has been 4.25 liters!! (3 gallon container and did NOT pre-wet the soil)

I have compared her to others in "growdiaries" and she is no worse for the abuse/neglect !!!

She is so demanding-
-wanting water @ 3 days, but not getting 1.5 liters (plain water) until 5 days from last watering.

second pic ( 6 hours after water) shows she is perky but lanky- due to a combination of light searching, underwatered and in a crowded space (3rd pic)
Not optimal, but she is otherwise looking "leaf" healthy.

Dang your mean LOL I thought I was bad at times busting branches now and doing a little "piercing". My one Critical and Gorilla Bomb are so abused right now last of my outdoor plants in containers. I do keep them watered as they need to have fluids just no DNR preformed :)

Just giving 1.5 liters plain water, when I water/feed the other plants every Monday-Wednesday-Friday. whether she needs it or not...

Stopped filtering the water for chlorine - fill water jugs the night before and cap- no chlorine smell the next day and the ppms dropped 10% as before!

She is center looking good-starting to stack the buds nicely.

a thorn between 2 roses?
(may end up being a butterfly)

Little Olive Oil tall and stringy. Just goes to show without some "vitamins/nutrition" you get less than optimal growth. I have done minimal for my last 2 summer plants. I just gave minimal watering this a.m. after 5 days I don't think it even ran out? I've bent the arms to create stress most branches have elbows:shock: and I done some pierceing to the trunk stem in 2 areas, put a couple " sticks of wood" through. I don't do this usually but a fellow grower in our area told me this years ago when as a last resort to get the plant to ripen. It does make me feel bad after caring for them for the last 6+ months, I just need a more indica dominant next year for outdoor more suited for my area. High Sativa strains are not my friend:bawling:
Keep up the neglect she will give you what you deserve LOL;)

I keep placing the fan too close and it shows!

IMG_0264.JPG

The leaves had brown spots with an irregular pattern- only on the upper side of the plant- closest to the fan.
I removed the damaged leaves and adjusted the fan-

If it ends up being posphourus deficient (usually older/lower leaves)- the remaining leaves will show, as she just gets tap water on the other plants in the tent- schedule.

She is looking good with deep green leaves and buds developing well.

I found more leaves involved this morning, looking a bit like pH and Ca issues now - decided to give a light "bloom A&B feeding" along with Ca and GH Micro-

in other words- I'm not going to try and figure this out- shotgun therapy.

Thought I would check pH - (I never/rarely do)

I may strip her naked, as she is in the final bloom stages and I don't want bad leaves attracking pests.
