8.5 feet and no bud (5 months)

Alright awesome! Checked the gwe on seeds and holy fuck! So many choices! I think I'm going to do a auto feminized pineapple express. And an auto feminized lsd-25. Would you recommend there strains under a 250w hps? I think I'm going to do two of each unless the light isn't powerful enough...

So there are otherlights I can get. I found this Phillips greenhouse 400w for my budget not sure what greenhouse means about the light... And a mh 400 w and does the brand matter?

Some of these are available in 250w and some different brands in the 250 w
Thanks again for everything. I'm hoping to order everything on Wednesday! Including the lamp the seeds and the soil! I'll be sure to tag you on the results at the end of these plants and on the babes that should be done by mid Aug!
 
I'm not familiar with any of those brands. Again, my recommendation is to get a grow tent or build a small grow area in your basement FIRST so, you can control your grow environment.
 
Okay good to know, on Friday I will be putting up a plastic wall and I will post in like 7 hours but I will be using to make that wall it's sort of a Seer see through very thin plastic you use it to wrap sandwiches. I think I'm going to go with one of the HPS 400 not sure which company yet but we'll decide tomorrow and I'm also ordering the seeds tomorrow! And once the setup is good I will post a pic here so that you can tell me whether or not it is good in terms of air circulation Heat and reflection. Thank you so much for all your help man means a lot and I feel like I should be making a new post with every time I have a new question is this true or should I just stick to what I'm doing right now
 
No worries you are going the right direction. This forum is built for questions so ask away. If yo don't want an answer from the forum you can always PM me. As for the light. I used a iPower 400w and it worked great for me. I feel the bulbs are more important to look at more than the fixture itself, but that's just me.
 
Can someone explain to me weather this is bud or is it make balls...

I killed the 8 footer because he was unfortunately male.... And the pre budding female seems to be dying.... I ordered 4 new seeds from sensibleseeds and got 5 freebies! I got a new 400w hps light. New cocoa soil and and am currently building a stand for the light. My only concern is closing up the room because itried with the see through sticky plastic and it didn't work at all so if you guys have any suggestions for something I can use that ca be bought in a hardware store that would be great thanks!

I made my room out of reflectix (a form of insulation that is just like bubble wrap sandwiched between two layers of Mylar. ). It is durable, reflective and insulating.

Joe had a plant once that would not bloom turns out my light was to close, after I moved it 8 weeks later I had a huge crop. for the rest of this grow (yes I think you can finish these) get a better light but also if you cant buy a tent you can get this flexible insulation at home depot or Lowes comes in a roll its 4' feet wide and can be taped together to go floor to ceiling ,cheep alternative.
 
Joe I purchase my lights at growershouse.com they seem to have the best pricing but anything will be better than that Ir also I think your right the plant in the last pic. looks like a male the other is in bloom just doesn't have enough light to finish up . I have found good leds on amazon that are pretty cheep and at lowes or home depot there is a silver flexable insulation in 4 foot rolls I would at least circle the plant until you can get a room
