3 week opinions

Yeah Porcha Some people feed their plants different, some everyday some every other day .Once every 2 days ought to be fine but read up on it an see what Nebula says . Before you give them anything make sure you have got the PH right. I grow in 3 gallon SmartPots and I water them every 2 days with no nutrients because I grow in a water only soil the nutrients in the soil will last the whole grow , my pots are light I can tell they need water by how light the pots are. Good Luck .

Ok appreciate the info. I was under the impression I had to water first to then test the runoff and go from there. I'm honestly just ready to at LEAST fix my ph hoping I see progress.

Got to check your PH before you water. PS after you use either up or down let it sit for a little while before watering to make sure its settled ,once you do it a few times its easy .But from day one on your first watering you need to make sure your water is right that is what causes problems PH wrong , in soil needs to be 6.0 to 7.0 my plant really likes it at 6.3 to 6.4. Good Luck

Since you are in soil you need to adjust the feedwater pH and test the runoff pH, if its high, water using lower pH water: reverse if its low :).

I feed about every three days and every other feeding I feed nutes so thts there nutes for the week if your getting the gh trio u should check out nebulas feeding schedule for tht so u will have no guess work I'd send link but dnt no how

I grow in coco I always pH at 6.0 and never have pH issues unless I pull a stoner move but thts rare I did 1 soil grow last year and phed at 6.0 no pH issues this isn't facts this is just how I do it and wht works for me honestly I rarely check my run off pH

I've checked and checked and checked AGAIN. My tap water comes out at 2.5. I feel like this is terribly wrong. I also checked the runoff water and it's 1. Something. It can't be the pen because I calibrated and calibrated again and it's coming up the same. Any ideas?

That is VERY acidic. One thing you can do is test some bottled water -- you can find the pH for most major bottled waters via Google. If it reads really close the that number then your meter is probably accurate (or at least close enough).

No Title

Ok I have 3 plants that have this white powder on them. Tried to whipe them off that didn't get me anywhere. Any ideas?

I'm not an expert but here are a couple of things to try. WPM is White Powdery Mildew. Wet a paper towel and try to gently wipe off a leaf. If it wipes off, it may be WPM. See GWE for the WPM tutorial. If it doesn't wipe off check for bugs, especially under the leaves. GWE has tutorials on bugs, like spider mites. See what other advice you get here too. Good luck!

I tired whipping it off with a paper towels but no go but luckily there's no bugs under the leaves so that's good

OK, check out the GWE tutorial on "White Powdery Mildew", The "7 Step Remedy", and the
There are bugs that don't live under the leaves too. I think you said you are growing outside so you can't do too much about the growing environment except water and nutrients unless you add some type of enclosure. Put some bug strips (the sticky ones) around plants and see what they catch. It looks like you might have a problem with a flying insect called a thrip_ they are very small and don't live on the plants until the eggs hatch. The white spots are where they have bitten into the leaf and laid eggs. You might be able to see them on the soil around the plant but they fly so maybe not and they don't live under the leaves like spider mites. If its thrips those spots should be white, a bit shiny and you won't be able to wipe them off. Check the tutorial on "Pests, Bugs and Viruses"_ it will provide some solutions to getting rid of them. Good Luck _ hope you get the problem cleared up_ cheers.
