2nd year adventures

Haha thanks guys - bottom left still looks like it's not really progressing in comparison to others but I trust you all know your shit, and i know i can worry too much. Hoping you're right

Hoping everyone is right but I'm still paranoid that I messed 1/4 up.

Noticeably shorter and behind as times goes on:

But I dont see any bananas or anything.

The rest of the tents are filling out as planned more or less. I think I will let them veg until end of April and flower May-early July.

Planning to defoliate a bit and then leave it so it starts growing vertically before flip.

Also ready to start growing vertically after a mild defoliation planned for later this week.

These 2 are droopy in comparison to others but ok. My theory is that it has something to do with this tent being in a space which gets pretty cold with lights off and may be on the cool side even when the LED lights are on.

The more mature (F30) Mokum's Tulip in the 8x4 are thriving

1/4 on left side has started gaining mass again. It was on pause for a couple days and still lags others in same tent but seems back on track.

I think the 8x4 is going to be my frostiest and heaviest yield yet!

I am seeing a lot more stretch in both CMH tents vs LED. Plan is to keep a close eye on the final quality of CMH vs LED buds, and if the LED is at least comparable I am going to replace the two CMH fixtures with 2x 240W 2700k LM301H QBs.

They look super frosty. Nice looking buds to be sure. Congrats. Look forward to your comparison between CMH and LED.

F51 in the 8x4. Breeder says 8 weeks (56 days) so we're getting close for sure!

Plenty of amber on the buds closest to light

Lots and lots of colas around this size

Flush will start tomorrow and go for a week or two

Hope everyone is staying safe and well during lockdown. Try to make the most of the upcoming long weekend 🍁

Thanks John. I don't normally weigh my harvests but will aim to weigh this and the 4x4 CMH -- for comparison purposes, and also to see roughly how many g/sq ft and g/watt I am yielding with the new trellis netting approach.

Thinking of placing an order for Northern Lights by Sensi Seeds and CBD Critical Mass by Dinafem seeds so I have a more pure indica and a mild daytime strain for the wife.

Anyone have experience with Northern Lights? Anecdotes online make it seem like it's a good one for folks with over active brains like me.

Great looking harvest ocgreen. I have several strains I go to for just the same issue as yours. And I will go back and forth over time so that I and my hubby don't get to complacent with a certain strain. I've grown NL photos in the past very good. We like WW, OG kush, GSC. I'm getting more and more into the older strains it seems.

I bought some NL from Sensi in my last order but it will be a while before I'll be starting them because of some clones taking up space that need to be flowered out ASAP. I hear it's a good one to grow when your carbon filter is getting weak.

Thanks SoOrbudgal. Loving the quality and effects of the Mokum's Tulip for daytime. I think it came from GSC and OG Kush at some point. I think I had WW (that's what dispensary said it was) and found it made me a little more active which intend to avoid

UndergroundFarmer also read that it's not such a potent smell. Hopefully a nice taste. May need to buy some at a dispensary before I dedicate the garden space and time 🤔

I had Northern Soul for awhile in my garden it’s a Northern Lights x Skunk cross. It worked wonders with my ADHD as a daytime smoke.

Obi-Wan glad to hear it helped you. The more I think about it the more I realize it's worth a shot growing.

The lingering question for me: do I spend the extra $40 CDN to get Sensi Seeds brand or do I just go with the more affordable in house brand of local seed shop? Leaning towards paying more so I can be sure

I’ve found the house brands to be hit or miss, particularly as of recently. I’m more inclined to spend the extra $$ for the known brand moving forward.
