2headed bud?

Just wondering what causes this, I know it's not from heat, light or breeze, that's all fine.
I've had this happen several times over the years, but mostly on outdoor grows.
All I can think of is some sort of mutation, or something.
Anyone ,got a clue or answer?
I know I've had several plants that topped themselves, early on, like in the first couple of weeks, I've also seen other folks that had plants, that topped themselves on GWE.
But this is different than that.
Thanks for any help.
The picture ain't too good, I tried to get to get another one, but it said memory was low, whatever that is.
Thanks again.

GreenState you might be right about the damaged part, im kinda ruff on my plants, no babying on mine, i promise you. They either make it, or ill use some more seeds, lol
Have a great day, good to hear from you.

I figured you've seen it, anyone that's grown alot of plants, like you must have seen it.
I've seen it on a good many MJane plants out in the woods, I always figured it was deer taking a bite or two.
I've also seen it in tomatoes an plums, that would be double headed, so I reckon it could be polyplodism, I ain't got a clue, but they eat good and smoke good.
Have a great day Spidermite

Yes D.A.A.S.69 my best plants to date have been from the over flood area on our farm. Nothing but the silt from the MS river with perlite. No feeding no watching just 50 gallon pots of MS River mud and a few waterings. If I can find it I have pics of how we ended up getting the water to the farm to feed them MS river water.

Thanks 62, they still young, but they getting there.
That purple one I got ,is the same days old, and she's almost ready already, she showed pistils on like day 15, i think i'm gonna give her another week or two,
I think molasses really helps with the frostyness, and stickyness, that's just my opinion on that though.
Have a nice night.

It's my break time from the farm. We are only growing mothers right now for spring. I'll take some pics when I go back which will most likely be this week. Basically we created a lake and floodways with an island in the middle with a good old fashioned draw bridge for kicks.
