Hi Jeg, are you talking a post harvest trim, or just a haircut for a growing plant?
If the latter, Green75 suggests taking one fan leaf from each node (typically 2 fan leaves) but he's a heavy defoliator.
I think Marley was thinking post harvest trim, I haven't heard of anyone trimming sugar leaves during a grow.
So from your pics, I'd say only trim the third indicated leaf.

Post harvest you want to take all the leaves off the bud and try to get any stems out too.
Sometimes people will do a rough wet trim, then a close dry trim (the buds shrink during the dry exposing more leaf matter).
In general you're aiming for nothing but bud
I'll often pull all my remaining fan leaves off first, then trim the sugar leaves (and keep that trim for making keif etc.). My weed only get the final "dispensary" dry trim if my girlfriend can be bothered to do it -- my eyes aren't good enough.

Thank you so much for your response. My words don't always come out right so understand I mean no disrespect. Ok I think all three leaves I'm pointing to are sugarleaves. Is that correct? I'm confused as to when they stop being considered sugarleaf and are bud? How small of a leaf? Does that make any sense?

Hey jeg your plant looks great. First of all the big leaves that have a little stem(petiole) are called fan leaves. And all the little ones sticking out of the bud are sugar leaves, are called this way cause they have tricomes in them, that's why you save them. When you harvest remove the big fan leaves first and discard them, then with scissors remove all the leaves you can, try to cut following the shape of the bud going "all around" without rubbing it too much. Save all those leaves to make concentrates or edibles. Good luck don't be afraid

I wasn't sure if the leaf in the third pic was a small fan leaf or not.
I'm no botanist but I've always thought of any 3 tipped leaf with a stem as a fan leaf. You often get these between buds and as tall buds fatten up they can envelop small fan leaf stems making them look like sugar leaves. I like to get these "small fans" early if possible so there aren't extra stems in my buds.
