1st grow

Hi guys
I have recently started a grow of 10 plants in a grow tent my first grow ever . I'm 4 weeks in and my plants are on an 18/6 veg at the moment and are about 18" tall so far.
i think I may have a problem as the top new leaves have a tiny yellow tip forming and some of them are randomly clawing it's just started so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction in sorting this as I'm soon wanting to put them to flower . Very new to this and this forum but
Any help would be awesome!!

Happy days and thanks !!!

Thanks for the reply's

im using coco cour medium in the pots and canna coco A+B for feeding .
watering twice a day using the first knuckle rule plants are looking healthy some bigger than others some bushier.
just picked the centres on the taller ones to help spread.
but that's all really .

cheers

If you can post photos that would be very helpful. Many things can cause leaves to curl, not to mention that leaves curl in different ways -up, down, or sideways. Issues could be anything from overwatering to overfeeding to overheating, deficiencies, PH problems, or a combo of several things. So pics and feeding schedules help a lot.

I'm glad to hear you topped them, although you should hold off longer on the flip to 12/12. You should not be watering twice a day for a plant that old and that big. It is better to give more water at one time and then allow the soil to dry out so oxygen can get to the roots.

How far back did you top them? Are they in pots that have drainage at the bottom?

No Title

I'm feeding them in the morning the 18/6 is from 22.00 -05.00 so I feed them about 06.00 and 17.00

if the very tip is yellowish brown....just the tips...they are nute burned...not a bad thing at all....just hit them with ph water a couple times and lower nute %...now you know where you are with them...twisting is common when burned a little bit...

Always keep ph at six....throw a flush/stripper in every so often to get rid of built up salts so plant can use nutrients properly....too much salt jams up the pipes if you will..causes problems that people associate with other things when it likely started with plugged plumbing...plant does not uptake properly...leaving extra nitrogen in medium and when she is drinking she is getting hit with nigh does of nitrogen which burns plant......

Now that is not the only way to nute burn a plant....happens with just giving them too much of a % of full dose....I look forward to the burn so I know what they can handle and how finicky they will be...nute burn is easily fixed.

Bla bla bla....hope that helped

Top shout Green 75 and everyone else for your help with my problem and I hope to post photos of my crop they have been on veg for 4 weeks how much longer should I let them go until flip ?? Cheers 😉

Hi yeah I've only topped the ones that are about 18" so far so about 5 ? They have been on 16/8 for about 4 weeks now some of the plants are 18" some are around 13/14" how long should I edit before flip 12/12 ?
Cheers

The more root bound they are the faster they will drink and dry out....if that's the case...yes still seems excessive

My tent is 2.4 m long x1.2 m wide x 2.00 m high running 2 600 w duel spectrum sodium lamps extract and cooling fan for breeze when they go off I have small heater just to keep it a bit warm in there before 16 starts
