    This is Fun

Used the 2 ton heat press at 175 and this aluminum billet mold. It's pretty bullet proof. Just make sure you put some parchment paper at the top and bottom. I measured out 3.1 grams of kief and that filled the mold a bit over half way.

    This is Fun

3 gram wafers from Crucial's alchemy kitchen lab and my new rosin press. I have such fond memories of my teenage hashish days. I managed 16 grams of kief from this year's trim harvest. I can't believe I used to just throw all that trim out. I still haven't cleaned out the tray under my drying...

    Boveda Joke?

Bought a dozen Boveda 62's. They seem fresh and pliable but my 1 quart jarred RHL readings are all over the map from 47-57, while humidity in the room is about 52%. For those of you that have used them, do you think they actually do any good? This is my first time using them and honestly I feel...

    Not a Fan

Harvested one of the Vanilla Frosting plants today and tossed the mid-size buds into my recently purchased bowl trimmer. Looks like broccoli. I'll be hand trimming the larger buds. The indiscriminate trim I think takes away from aesthetic appeal of a nice manicured nugget. The upside is that...

    Kiefer Maddness

I haven't collected Kief in a long time primarily because it was such a hassle using the dry ice method. This year I bought myself an inexpensive trim tray and I have to say it worked far beyond my expectations. I got just over 2 1/2 grams of beautiful golden kief (not my picture here) from just...

    Phat Phreak Porn

I got the 2nd Freak in the drying rack today. The outdoor screen house has worked better than I could have hoped. Not one single bug, caterpillar, cat hair, or bird poop. Got the guestroom (drying central) dialed in at 50% RH and the temp staying between 70-74. I'm guessing 2+ more weeks for...

    One of Those Days

Thought some of you might be interested in this gaping straw of a stalk. These Freaks drink an amazing amount of water.

    One of Those Days

Got woken up at dark o'clock by a mosquito buzzing my ear. Little punk wouldn't leave me alone and slowly I begin to realize it has already feasted on me around my neck and shoulders and was now just taunting me. I'm not going back to sleep so I fumble around in the darkness and head downstairs...

    Opinions

Have any of you tried one of these drier racks? I bought myself a bowl trimmer and this came with it. Over the years I've ping ponged all over with lots of drying methods. The past 2 years I've been doing it in cardboard boxes because October in California tends to be very dry and boxes seem to...

    Seat of My Pants

I broke out the microscope this morning to have a look at the Freaks trichomes. All appear to be milky with virtually no clear and no amber. It makes me wonder if trichome color may not be a valid indicator for this strain. The colas are very dense but overall the plants look like they still...

    Reaper Madness

Yeah, I know, It's not weed but I'm proud nonetheless. Started this from seed way back in March. Scoville of 2.2 million they say. I won't be finding out if that's true or not. Jalapenos are about my tolerance limit.

    Freaking

The freaks are way ahead of my other plants. The aroma of these buds is just amazing. The only way to describe it is lighter fluid and grapefruit. This strain is rapidly becoming a favorite. Looking forward to a harvest sooner than expected.

2022 Outdoor Growers Post Your Outdoor Pictures ONLY

My first post when this thread began back in late May on the left. Same perspective this afternoon. OG Kush in front, monstrous FreakShows next, but unfortunately you can't see the Vanilla Frostings or my bag seed plants beyond. I can't even navigate past them anymore so to get from one side to...

    Trying My Hand

My first attempt at a bit of bonsai. I'm not particularly happy with how it's going but I'm learning some technique. I think I need to not be so afraid to shorten branches. I've been putting it under lights in the evenings to prevent flowering but I think I'm going to let it go soon and see how...

    Under Canopy Lighting

I've always been an outdoor grower but I'm considering trying my hand at some indoor plants over the winter. Due diligence had me trying to formulate ideas for a grow area and how to light the area sufficiently. This got me to thinking about the feasibility of adding lights below the canopy for...

Something is happening here, and it aint very clear!

bdeegan Here's a shot of a Freak flower from this morning. A definite learning curve when figuring out what's going on with them. Males look similar but have clusters of banana looking pods instead of hairs.

    Size Matters

Gingerbeard It's little droopy cause it's late at night. I think I'll start putting this under the light at night soon so it doesn't go into flower. I'd like to get the stalk and branches more aged with a gnarly skin on it by scraping them a bit with a blade. I'll trim some of the branches off...

    Size Matters

All the plants shown were germinated the same week in mid April. The 4 in front are all OG Kush from the same mother seeds. The only difference is container size. The plant in the 30 gallon is just under 7 feet, red solo cup is about 7 inches, 3 gallon container on right is only about 13-14...

    A Little Help?

After a couple years of threatening, I finally pulled the trigger and bought myself a 16 inch iPower bowl trimmer. Now I'm realizing that I have virtually no clue as to how to successfully use one and I find myself with dozens of questions. Anybody here have experience using one and maybe some...
