Decided to place her under MarsHydro reflector48 (growth switch only) @ 29" from soil in 24/0 in small tent. (not worth starting larger tent until more plants. Also, seedlings don't need much light)
At 24 hours she is looking healthy and ready ro grow.
Soil around the germbag has not been...
Plants obtained by Rodelization- https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-to-...arijuana-seeds, contain genes from 1 female plant.
In my past experience, those seeds behave differently than the mother and don't always follow "the timeline".
I dropped a rodelization (accidental) seed, a week ago from a...
It's great you checked in- as outdoor growing and indoor are 2 different animals.
The two biggest factors you have to provide indoors that you didn't need worry about outside are: light and air movement -ventilation plus circulation as mentioned above.
They are the most important part of an...
Once the trichomes begin to topple from it's weight (cloudy)- I'm comfortable with chopping.
The usual harvest trichome percentages:
Clear 5%-10%
Cloudy 70%-80%
Amber 5%-10%
WAITING FOR HARVEST!
A tent provides a specific area which makes controlling the environment of the grow much easier.
We are bombarded with the idea (marketing) you have to buy/use something to improve a grow- it's actually the environment which is far more important once the basic needs are met.
That said: I...
The plant is ready for harvest and has grown some great buds- they were all popcorn buds 2 weeks ago, as the second stage started!
I'll post a pic of the trimmed buds - prepared for drying.
As I dive deeper into the many LED changes over the past 2 years (WOW)- I'm finding the use of 660nm deep red to assist in flowering or initiating flowering being added to CoB like units.
My question for those LED savy growers is:
Are Autoflowers influenced in anyway by the addition of 4(?)...
I decided to finish the current grow with MarsHydro 300w*** and the Optic 1 xl- (get my feet wet).
The Optic has a flower distance range @ 18-24".
*** As a side note- my g/f just finished her first indoor grow using one MarsHydro 300w- Auto Jack Herrer- yielding 89.5g dry!
9 Days and counting!
She's back to drinking again- (& growing): Trichomes the same.
staying nice and green- still faded, but not getting anymore yellowing- shake leaves are fine.
First time growing in 5 gallon fabric pots inside- (I've grown 1 &3 gal for years) and am noticing a soggy bottom on all of them.
The fabric pots are on a rack with circulation during the grow.
It is limited to the bottom 2 " of the dirt ball - at harvest.
I've seen others use coco/perlite on...
Decided to trim it out a bit - it had many yellowed fan leaves- shake leaves are still fine and the plant looks great and drinking well.
Since I am feeding again- I didn't feel the need to keep the bush.
Before/After
I'm an LED grower and was searching LED options which may last longer than 18 months (my worhorse LED faultered at that point) etc.
I have come across the Optic 1 xl which has a 5 year warranty amongst other claims of greatness, lol
When looking to purchase, I find several company names- that...
Harvest -stage one: remove 8 cola's.
Plenty of green fans left as I usually leave a lower "skirt" when defoliating.
chop/trim
LST the canopy even, then back in the tent to finish.
Continue water only until ambers appear- hopefully after gaining some weight.
UPDATE: getting "wicked" close:
The upper leaves are yellowing a bit and the lower bush still has some green to carry it- still a good candidate for a staged harvest- trichomes will guide the story!
I have 4 MarsHydro's and happy with their results-
My workhorse LED is the MarsHydro96 which is 18 months old and part of 1/2 panel has lost most LED's.
My question is the warranty process worth it?
Is this something I can fix and avoid sending the unit back?
I have sent an email to them, so...
