    I use the Fox Farm Ocean blend. On my third grow so if any ideas would appreciate it. Never added anything to this.Working on increasing yield.

    So u use ff ocean soil, this soil is great for the 1st 2weeks as all the nutrients the seedling needs is in there but for the rest of the plants life u need to add nutes. Fox farm trio works great if u wanna stick to ff if not so far the best iv come across is emerald harvest 3part micro bloom and grow I also add bio stimulants from npk industries. B vitamins, kelp, silica, bloom microbes, cane mollasas. And then I also add emerald harvest's sugar additive honey chome. You tube harley smith and he will teach u a lot about biostimulants and the importance of each one. A single 2oz bag costs about 10bucks and makes about 200gallons exspect the microbes they make a lot less but u only need to use the microbes once a week in flower. Proper nutes will increase your yeild by a lot. What is ur light set up and do u use a tent of mylar or white polly on the walls. White polly is ok but mylar will definitly increase ur yield as its way more reflective, some people will argue this but I personaly have seen the differeence lol. Your light source makes a huge difference as well, HID,cfl,led,cmh. Distance of ur bulbs and honestly even your brand of bulb makes a difference because each brand makes a different light specrum. That might sound stupid because to us to looks the same but to the plant it can tell the actual different colors of the light. And color specrum makes a huge difference in plant growth so when buying bulbs always do ur reaserch on the spectrum and usualy the most exspensive is the better route I prefer eye hortilux super hps, super blue mh and solistek 10k as my finisher bulb I keep my light around 15inch above my plant mark with 1000watts per 5x5 space u can also do 4x4 as iv done that before and it works great. Now RH and temp help a bit for yield as well in flower keep ur rh under 40 this way ur plant uses more nutrients in the soil instead of water in the air and u wount get rot ect... temp around 70-85 for flower hotter or lower and the plants slows the growth of the buds if u drop ur temp to 50 or 60 for 7days ull get purple leaves but no purple bud so this is useless to do in my opinion. Last but definitly no least is Co2, in my opinion co2 is a must if u want bigger yields exhale co2 bags are great or if u have a very small grow (2-3 plants) u can use jugs with small hoses running to each plant and inside the containers 2liters water 1table spoon yeast and 1cup sugar. This will give u co2 for about 7days. Or if u have a large grow u can use co2 compressed gas or a co2 burner with propane. U want ur co2 ppm level to be 1500ppm in the natural air co2 is about 350ppm. Co2 does a lot of things for ur plants. Helps them from heat stress light stress increases there growth 100percent and thats not a joke thats been sicinificly proven. Theres cells on the bottom of the leaves called stamata and there the co2 cells they only open with blue light in the spectrum and also co2 is best used at higher temps 70-85. When in flower dont raise ur temp over 85 as u will start burning ur terps (flavor/smell glands). Some people say defoling helps and they are parialy right after 40days of a leaf starting they loose most of there photosythedic activity so yes plucking that leaf will help the newer leaves get more photosisthises but who has time and memory to remember what leave is on day what lol I personaly only defol if I need more air flow.     Good Morning, I read a few of your post and I came to the conclusion that you've been growing for a while. I've grown for years indoors, and I'm growing outdoors this season. Do you have out door experience also?

    Yep I sure do lol if ur in a state where it's not legal yet the best option is to build ur self a green house outa that semi see thro plastic deck roofing stuff. But as for growing go get ur self some citranella plants u are going to need these to help keep pests away pests are very hard to controll out side so ull have to take every messure to keep them away. Other than that it's pretty easy just watcvh the weather u dnt want any rough rain storms when ur plants are uncovered if there in an open area u will need a back up plan to cover them temperaryily just in case but if there in treed areas u will be fine. Also if ur growing out side get ur self a rain barrow to collect rain water and use that to water ur plants as the minerals and ph leves are different than tap water so this way u wount get toxins or deficincys or ph problems. It's ok to start off with tap water while ur rain gets collected. But growing out side is simple u just gotta prepare/have a plan for mother nature's storms and bugs ect...

    Ya iv been growing awhile but always organic and soil so this run I'm trying 2 dwc with bubbleponics to see how it gos :)

    Here is my first grow. 68 days from sprout. All 5 are Autos all in 5gal Cloth Smartpots , 2-Purple Kush (Buddha Seeds), 1- AK (Royal Seeds), 2- 2Fast 2Vast (Heavyweight Seeds). 4x4x6.6 Tent. 2-600W Led's (Galaxyhydro) 20" from Canopy. GH Trio + CaliMagic, GH Bio Bud and Molasses.Here are a couple pics. Do you think it's time to harvest the Purple Kush? watered yesterday, noticed tips showed a little nute burn so i just used PH H2o. Do you think I should start flushing the Kush and the AK? Thanks for your thoughts.

    There really nice looking plant :) nice bud formation :) it's hard to tell ya when to harvest what kinda high do u like speedy mellow or coutch lock? What's ur co2 levels temp and RH? If u can I would add an hps I just finished a success grow with 3 autos I got 2lbs and I noticed they needed more light and I used ( 1200w 1000w and a 600w LED) (true watts 350,200,100 true watts). I wish I would of added an hps after I harvested the buds arnt as strong and not as dence I have found an hps would of really helped.

    Hey Tyler.
    got some new problems...

    leafs look like there folding in half
    the temp is at 75f. and humidity at 42% the MH light was at 2'.. I just brought it up an other 5"s...

    I'm still having a hard time keeping ph down from 7.. I adjust to 6. but once in the soil it goes back up ta 7..
    I also took down the LED'S (gona need them for clone soon).

    so it's just the 1000w MH now.

    the plant in the 2and pick was directly under the lamp. the other 4 serounding it have that folding look also but not as severe...

    so does it look like heat stress or fricken ph locking out nute's

    light are off now so I'll do it tamarrow if there dried up enough
    and I'll flush them.

    And now that I think about it.
    when I fed them 2 days ago and uped there food dose and added fulvex and B1...
    ever since then they started folding up

    so o just flushed them with PH water
    and hydrogen peroxide...
    but I looked at the roots sticking out the drain holes ...
    there nice and white.
    and I checked the ph at the run off? and it's reading 6 maybe even less.
    and my Damn 3 way soil tester STILL reads 7....
    I think I should left that thing in China
    see what ll happen I guess

    the only thing which has changed in past week is ive been given the right ph in the water,6.5?` all the leaves gone brown down the edges then yeallow then died,the buds aint all that big,there quite hard but since it happened the plant feels crispy too,i dont know weather to my loses,im new to all the 1st,theve been flowering for just over 9 weeks and they look crap,any sugestions would be wicked,thanks.:dead:

    It's hard to say what definicy it is potasium def will make the leaves brown and cripsy and make em die and if it's just brown down the esges it's nute burn but after flushing it once ur next watering can go back to nutes at a lower level. If ur 9 weeks into flower ur buds should be right close to harvest a picture would help between week 6 and 8 the leaves should turn yellow because harvest is normaly in that range, if ur week 9 of flower u should have huges buds if not there is forsure deficincys. What strain is it?
