Greetings fellow growers, just started a new auto grow. Usually do photoperiods but have to have this one dried and cured by late March, so its autos this time. Going to try a few experiments with these girls.
Planted 8 seeds about 25 days ago in 4" cups. Four days ago I transplanted four of...
I cut, trim and then hang from shower curtain rods in an unused bathroom, using binder clips on strings to "grip" each stem. I can get about 4-6 six foot shower rods in parallel over the shower enclosure.
Then adjust temp and humidity to be about 65-70 degrees F and 50% humidity. Pics attached...
The only autos I've grown were under full spectrum lights for the entire grow. I use bloom boosting lights with photoperiod plants but do you think that will make any difference with the auto's?
Since they are "pre-programmed" to flower by age...just wondering if anyone has experimented with...
Yup, I'd go with the 8' tent for sure. It makes things much easier. Most of the time when I grow different strains at the same time I end up raising some of the planters to keep the same canopy height as the tallest plants. I'm looking for large colas so I train them to be flat but if I have to...
OK, this is a weird one! Anyone ever seen this before? This plant has been showing this anomaly for the past three weeks_ at least that's when I noticed it.
Check out the photos and pass them along cuz I've never seen this or heard of it before. Comments very welcomed!
:p Thing is they don't...

I've never had any issues with drying and curing and have always had great success. But the tops of my colas were usually less than 2-3" wide and 6" long above the last bract. This grow I have two plants with huge colas.
They are about 4-4.5" in diameter and 16-20" long above the last bract. I'm...
Here's an update from the end of December. Getting behind, working on catching up. I'm starting to get that anxious feeling....
January_1-12
January 1st_flowering nutrients as recommended by manufacturers schedule. Using the Advanced Nutrients at 1/2 strength and the Vegamatrix at Full...
I've been making dry ice hash for a few years now but am thinking of trying to make some bubble hash as well. I've used cured, dried and wet flower for the dry ice hash and they all have worked well.
Can you use wet trim and popcorn buds to make bubble hash or should you dry it first?
I read...
Ran across these pics when I was putting together sample photos for the current grow_ "liquid organic nutrients in coco". I started with 10 regular seeds and at the beginning of the 4th week some of the males gave themselves away. Photos attached for those interested. Cheers for the new year!
OK, here's an update from Dec 21st_
Dec 22nd-Continuing to alternate the Advanced Nutrients liquid organics with the Vegamatrix liquid organics. Using supplements every other watering. Using Full strength as recommended by manufacturers. No signs of deficiencies, very slight signs of possible...
Here's Part 2_ Second phase of grow.
Nov 23rd_broke a branch off the trunk of one of the Exodus Rex. Taped up the wound. **** happens!
Found another female Caesar, gave away the other two to make room for larger planters.
Started full strength Bloom nutrients.
Nov 24th_ found another male...
After all the talk about organics I decided to try them myself. Things seem to be going well so far. I'm going to post this grow in three parts since I'm already 4-5 weeks into flowering.
Here are the specifics_
Grow Space_ 3.5’x6’
Seed Stock_
Exodus Rex_ feminized (Sour Seeds)_ Exodus...
OK, apologies to whomever's thread I was on when I lost it_ I was going to reply about what I've been able to find out about light spectrum and intensity and how it can affect flavonoids, terpenes and cannabinoids....but then bam, it was gone.
I'm no expert but this is what I've been able to...
The first week of October we were driving down the highway in southern Oregon and every few miles the sweet smell of cannabis poured in through the windows of my truck. Signs advertising jobs as bud trimmers and harvesters were all around.
October is harvest time in the fields and green houses...
