Experienced growers: What's the hardest part of growing weed?

I have tried many ways like most of the growers have, I plant seed to soil in its final pot. Water it in and cover with humidity dome. This works for me as well as any other method

Just curious, when there's weed you don't like, what's the reason? The effects, the smell, overall density/feel/smokability, or something else?

I've heard some growers say the biggest bud quality problems come from genetics, while others say it's really more about flowering environment/harvest/drying/curing practices.

If my ganja doesn't meet my expectations, I have friends that will gladly take it off my hands! I imagine we all have smoked some ganja that didn't taste so bueno. Did we toss it, NO! If I get the effects, then I will consume it anyway!

I’ve literally tossed entire plants if they don’t meet the standard. My friends don’t get junk

Chipper, the past is over. I rehab stuff all the time, because I had to learn it when young. It's a skill too many younguns lack.

My go to most successful is . Dip seeds in hydrogen peroxide, soak the seed in distilled water in a shot glass12-24 hours then place them between damp paper towels distilled water again in a unsealed Tupperware container in a dark spot at 70-78f until they sprout tails then to a small pot…

I don’t get on the site much myself anymore since whenever I do decide to dive into someone’s post to answer a simple question, a troll like yourself will make a snarky comment as if what I’m doing effects them

Thanx for being a good ambassador for the GWE forum Allotrope, you're a good man! Based on bboys last comment I am not the only man he has deemed a troll. It doesn't bother me that bboy likes to call people names. I can accept that kind of boy behavior, since that's what he calls himself. This forum is not a place for name calling. That's why I need to step down before I get called something else. I'm too old to be dealing with people like that and we need less of it in the world!! My opinion

This is the internet. The only thing that affects you is what you let affect you. When someone types, there is no inflection or demeanor in the communication except maybe for punctuation, and many people are lost on punctuation, grammar, and internet slang. Meanings get lost or misinterpreted. Maybe someone is having a bad day, maybe they are just mean. You can only control your reaction.

I am assuming you are asking about indoor growing ?

I actually just finished my first two grows. One was indoors and one was outdoors. I had differing levels of success. I got way more weed from the outdoor grow, but the quality was kind of questionable. The indoor grow had lower yields, but was faster and the bud quality is far better.

I do think it would have increased my indoor yields a lot if I had done more training in the vegetative stage and gave them a bit longer before flipping to 12/12. I didn't really realize the important of canopy coverage until my plants were already flowering and I saw all the empty spots in the tent without any buds.
