Hi everyone, my last post was transplant tragedy which some of you may have read, that was on 30-9-2016 or 9-30-2016 for my American brothers and sisters, I had to pull apart two root bound plants, it was a bad experience from lack of knowledge, both plants have survived and the big one started to show white hairs yesterday, both are bagseed so this is a massive bonus for a first grow, nice tip from nebula on GWE about sea kelp, it really helped them settle in. Thanks guys, more soon!!!

I considered bigger pots but have decided to leave them be as height is an issue at the moment, but your advice is appreciated and noted, my next grow will be with more room and height and yes....bigger fabric pots, but for reasons I don't need to explain, what it is will have to be, again thanks for the advice and ill keep the forum updated!!!

Sometimes you have no choice but to go with bigger pots. I thought we could get away with 2 gal buckets, because I was going to try and keep them small. I switched to 12/12 when they were about 12 inches tall. They had other ideas though, and became one huge root ball. Have no choice but to transplant into 5 gal buckets. They survived the transplant with no problems and continued to thrive. Soon after white hairs on all the colas started to appear.

P.S. Hope number 2 is also a girl!
 
I hope so too insomniaczzz, I really don't have an option at the moment, I have been doing LST to try and keep them down but now I'm beginning to worry a bit after reading these few posts, the only place I could put them is not nearly as good....yet!! I will have to reconsider my strategy, any tips for keeping plants short will be much appreciated. Thanks!
