I don't know nothin bout hydro, but can you see your roots on the plant that's giving you trouble, what do they look like, can you post a picture of her roots ?

D.A.A.S.69 sorry for the late reply. That's roots and one of the leaves that is starting to show discoloration.

The tub pH stays around 5.9-6.1. It takes 8ml of pH down in 5 gallons of water to get my tap pH down to 6.0 or a little lower (using liquid and color chart) and the distilled water has a pH of 6.0. I haven't added any nutes to top off yet. I have changed the tub out twice since last week with no positive results on the left plant while the one on the right couldn't care less what I do to it.

When I do add nutes, so far it's been 1/2tsp (2.5ml) for every 5 gallons of Flora Micro and Gro as well as 10ml of Hydroguard.
That all goes in to my water change and then it gets pH'ed down.
Then based on the advice of DW2 I have started using ice bottles (0.5L) to keep the water temp down. You can actually see a bottle cap lid in the picture of the roots. When the lights are on and I am here, I rotate out the ice every 4 or so hours. I put a bottle in before lights out and change it when they come back on. I'm running 18/6 light schedule.

I will answer any question I can and take a picture of whatever I need to so I can figure this out. Both tub
water parameters are the same, both have the same air pump and air stones.

Shock, we gonna get you fixed up , I hope anyway, but something ain't right, some where, if your ph, is staying close to 6.0, shouldn't be much problems.
I tell you what will really help ,is to try to take pictures, in natural light, can not see Anything with your led light on.
We have got to be able to see the green color of your plants ,before we can be able to help you, don't worry ,take a good clear picture, of your plant in natural light, and someone will be able to help you, it's just a guess with your Vipar on.

If your plant ain't locked out, You need to start feeding her , go half strength on whatever is on your bottle.
Then start increasing, a little every time, till you get a little tip burn,
She's hungry look in to me, !!!!
Some plants take more nutrients than others, some are big feeders, some not.

I was afraid that the discoloration on its lower leaves near the tips were already nutrient burn which is why I did a second water change. The bottle directions are 1tsp (5ml) for every gallon. I'm only dosing 1/2 tsp for 5 gallons. You think I'm starving it? The plant with all the duct tape under it (healthy in appearance) has been fine through all of it. Even when I came in to find a 6" clip fan had fallen and was blowing directly at it.

That's what I think, you are underfeeding , like I said above, some require more nutrients than others,
Maybe someone else will chime in. An help.

Shock, You might want to let someone else chime in first, but to me she sure needs some Nitrogen, an get her color back.

Shock, I use the ice bottles primarily during the lights on time. I some times, depending on the current temperatures, let them go thru the night without changing the ice bottles. I try to not let the reservoir water temperature get much below 60°F because the lower temperature can slow down the plants growth. I ,usually, change out the bottles when the water temperature gets between 68°F and 70°F.

Still at a loss. Not sure if the one on the left is getting better or not. It seems to be peeling the top of it's leaf. The one on the right hit a growth spurt l.

RagWeedDWC yes. That's my typical water level. It's about an inch below the tub indentation. I use one of those 5 gallon water cooler jugs.

48” seems too high for the light. The manufacturer suggests 32”. I have never used the viasoectra but when I used a mars hydro 1200 (same actual draw equivalent) I had my light 18” from the canopy if I remember correctly.

Shock, they sure look better, than they did, are you feeding them what's on the bottle, at half strength? Without tip burn?
You might want to increase the nutrients a little more, for a sick plant it takes a few days to see if you are making progress.

I've only got it that high because of what the manufacturers specs are. I had it 48" for seedling stage. The plants are exactly 3 weeks old today (from germination) so I wasn't sure when it was time for veg and to drop it the 4" down to 44. Been running them on 18/6.

Should I bring it lower? I don't want to cook them.

D.A.A.S.69 the bottles of Flora Micro and FloraGro say to use 1 tsp for every gallon. I was only dosing 1/2 tsp for 5 gallons. When I did the most recent water change, I used 3 tsp/5 gallons instead of 2.5 since my 1/2 tsp measuring spoon went missing.

Shock, probably gonna take a couple of days, before you slow plant responds.
If your not seeing any tip burn, you might want to increase the nutes a little.
And whatever your light manufacturer says about height for young plants, that's where your light needs to be. Till they start growing taller.
Sure hope ,she starts doing better.
